PS3 Update Thread (v1.60)

So far, best thing is the zoom on the web browser. You can actually read fixed sized text now! Background downloading is nice too. Can download while I watch a movie.

I somewhat agree.........but I like the old zoom in manual function better.......to me it now Zooms in to far without the ability to adjust it whatsoever!!!!!

Disc Auto-Start

• This new option under System Settings allows you to choose whether or not a disc should start automatically upon inserting the disc or turning on your PS3 system.

Seems oike auto-start is turned on by default. Games/Movies seem to start automatically when I put them in, but not when I turn on the machine.
Not a problem, because that's the way I like it, but misleading as the notes say "turning on your system", perhaps Sony saw the light on this one.

Still haven't figured out how to make a custom background, did Sony not include that?

Not true, you can use L2 and R2 when in zoom mode to adjust how far in/out you are zoomed! Pretty cool.
