how are people integrating their ota w/ the dish? any good multiswitches capable of handling 3 satellite locations and 1 ota input for dish? i know d* has several switches, but can't seem to find any for e*. so then, how are you guys wiring your ota's? 2 wires or diplexes? any advantages or disadvantages to each?

Hmmm, what receiver do you have?

The 811 allows you to plug the OTA antenna right into the back. You can scan channels and manually add. Those channels appear in the program guide, though programming info does not.

I think he's specifically referring to the wiring involved, when your antenna is located in a location on the roof or in the attic.

Personally, I planned to use a diplexer (2) to something stored in the garage rafters but when I had my 811 installed after I moved. However, I realized that my small RS bowtie worked well (for its location in a basement) and I wouldn't need to run cable for it.
