Oppenheimer predicts D* to gain market share

This is probably due to DirecTv going to use a smaller dish for the local channels in most markets, more retailers choosing to sell DirecTv than Dish Network because Dish made their retailers mad, and agressive promotions. The thing is that Dish plans to offer locals in 150 markets and I believe just extended their promotions and may have announced new ones (I didnt check yet) so maybe the cheaper hardware could also factor into this. Some may even switch over to DirecTv that currently has the SuperDish to get their locals. Also do not forget that Verizon wants to use DirecTv service when they bundle tv in their phone/internet packages.
