The one's I get say open script file *.ini but I don't know which file that would be.

It should take care of itself if you extract all the files from the editor archive instead of trying to run the editor directly from Windows's compressed folder window.

Then I downloaded channel master but when I open the file it don't show any satellites I have programed in the receiver.

I didn't think Channel Master supported these receivers.

Where can I find instructions on how to do that. I have a cable somewhere around here from my Fortec Star is that the sort of cable I need?

You'll need a null modem cable and the AliEditor for the Openbox S9. I use this cable on the S10 and my DSR-R100B.

Ok. Finally got it for real. The part I wasn't figuring out was the fact you need to change the file extension from .dbs to .abs then back to .dbs not too hard at all using the usb drive method.
