I have a dish 1000 and a VIP622 receiver. A while back the HD channels stopped working. They ended up replacing the VIP622 and everything was fine. About a month later the signal started getting poor on the 129. I tried re-pointing over and over with no luck. Now I get no signal at all on the 129. I can get mid 70's to mid 80's on 110 and 119 and still "0" on 129

Im basically at the point now of either going to the trouble of moving the dish or cutting trees. Before I go to those measures I was wondering if it could be a bad LNB for the 129?? I never get anything when trying to tweak the signal....not a thing.

The dish was installed about 1 year ago and was getting about 40 for signal on the 129. There are some trees that are possibly suspect, but just wanted some feedback from the experts before I spend the money to have them cut.

Thanks for the help!!

If the 129 signal was only in the 40s to start with and got progressively worse, I would say it was the trees

I moved it up higher and I am now getting mid to low 70's for everything. Must have been the trees. Those things must be on some serious miracle grow to make it obstruct in 1 to 2 months!! Everything has been in full bloom for while....all I can figure is that it is growth or maybe the storms have blown them around.

Can a Dish500 be linked to a 1000.4?

E-bill from Dish is wrong
