Great win for the Blues and took a Rookie Goaltender to do it and he is 6-1 now and I bet Elliot is gone if they get trades done 
Am not a fan of this 1 point for an OT loss. All it does inflates records and makes weaker teams look better on paper. Vancouver, Detroit, San Jose and New Jersey are all sub 500 teams without this extra bonus.
During a REGULAR season, 90 points is the bench mark to hit the post season.
Example Team A has 45-37-0 record (90 points), Team B 40-30-12 (92 points). Team B gets better playoff spot despite losing more games and technically has a losing record. When you only win 40 games out of 82, being in the playoffs shouldnt even be considered.

Hopefully the divisions will be called Adams, Smythe, Norris and Patrick <--- and that's a whole other debate which I hate Bettman for.
Great win by Blues last night beating 2nd best team in Hockey right now in Anaheim and great goaltending by rookie Jake Allen
Nice and classy act by the Ducks signing Corey Perry for 8 years to match the long term signing of Ryan Getzlaf. It sure is a fine time to be a hockey fan in SoCal. With both teams playing so well and the future being very bright in both L.A. and Anaheim.

The odd man out now is Bobby Ryan because w/ the cap going down next year there won't be enough cap space to resign some other key players ie- Selane and Koivu

OOPS! THANKS for pointing out my bonehead error. Maybe it was wishful thinking on my part.
This is probably the confirmed swan song for Teemu. Ryan will work his way in there somehow if he has a banner year and helps take them well into the playoffs. If he doesn't he's gone.
