Wings lose 2-1 tonight against the Blackhawks

Both Goalies played very well (Wings and Hawks).

Good battle all night.

Oh, btw, that was a Road game, Wings Home streak still alive, but the Canucks are next at home and thats where I have been thinking they will have the streak snapped.

Hope I'm wrong though.

Howards looked pretty good for being out 9-games...no apparent rust. Last night I kept thinking how much we missed Pavel. Hopefully we comes back soon and near 100%.

This was the game I mentioned earlier that could be the toughest game for them to keep the streak going, and that was WITH Pavel.

NHL needs to revamp the OT rules, if they are not going to do away with the Shoot Out, which I think is an terrible thing, they go to play 5 minutes of 4 on 4, they really need to make that at least 10 minutes, you just get situated and get a good flow to the OT and it's OVER.

I don't think you can call getting a win from the CBJ as a good weekend. It is pretty much expected out of every team in the NHL.

Wings look out of sync without Pavel Datsyuk in the lineup. The guy is a stud on both ends of the blue line. Anyway, Lidstrom is out for a few days...let's just hope we're healthy when we go into the playoffs.
