I agree with that. But if that's the case, this statement you made has no meaning:

;)

Yes it does....even if someone you know did something wrong...and you didn't know they did it...you WILL have an indication WHY they might have done it than some stranger you pick out of a NYC subway.....or a blogger...;)

I'm sure there are a lot of people who aren't bloggers who know a lot more about Michael Vick than Arthur Blank. Like what he did with his free time all those years. ;)

Sandra

What is he a puppet? Vick has his own free will. He can chose to do right or chose to do wrong. He chose wrong. VERY wrong. Yet he's too big of a P***Y to man up and admit it!

Multiple Choice Test for you, since you seem to be the neighborhood Vick apologist...

1. The house where Vick mutilated and killed dogs after he illegally fought them for kicks was owned by Vick, YES or NO?

2. Vick funded this operation, YES or NO?

3. Vick was found guilty, YES or NO?

People have choices in life. Maybe fighting dogs and gambling on it wasn't his original idea. However, he is his own person. Vick himself made the choice to go along with it and to allow it. Hell, he even killed dogs himself! Who's fault is that?!

The answer.... it's Vick's fault and no one else's. Blaming others makes him look like he needs more time in prison to think about it, because he's a LONG way from rehabilitation if you ask me.

Amen

Salsa, you never took my multiple choice quiz......

I saw your multiple choice farce...and I agree with all your "answers"...but again, do YOU know that his comments were taken out of context...? DO you know that quite possibly, he did mention he shared blame....? Nahhh...why would he say something like that... the story would not be good enough and not generate enough "buzz" if it DID show he is trying to make himself a better man...

...Damn that Dungy for lying to us...

But those people were close to Vick...same difference.

I'm not even sure what you mean by that, but whatever. The point is Arthur Blank does not speak for everyone, and he obviously does not know Vick very well anyway.

Vick sentiment will be determined by their reaction to what Vick says...not what Arthur Blank says.

We already agreed nobody knows if it was taken out of context or not. You don't have to keep hanging your hat on this.

Hopefully Vick won't be "taken out of context" here:

You do when others don't see it....;)

Not sure what you mean by this either, but please don't try to explain.

If you want to believe Vick is 100% rehabilitated, and thinks he made a mistake and is taking responsibility for killing torturing, hanging and electrocuting dogs, you go right ahead.

Many people will have our own opinion, regardless how many posts you make. ;)

I believe he did his time according to the law...period.

NO ONE knows if he is completely rehabilitated. IF YOU think he is NOT just because he lost his freedom and was incarcerated, rarely saw his family, lost millions of dollars and more than likely tried to avoid being someone's bi*** for almost 3 years....you TOO can go right ahead....I am sure plenty will have their opinion also...regardless of what you may also post.;)

My point is that it is premature to think he is NOT or that he IS completely rehabilitated.:eureka

ALSO....my post weren't directed AT YOU.....

People will base whether they think Vick is rehabilitated or not based on what Vick says. They're entitled to decide for themselves.

All I'm saying (and others as well) is my opinion. Unlike others I'm not trying to sway anyone else's thoughts...I'm only stating my own.

If you want to disagree with my opinion go right ahead, but that's only your opinion. You won't change my mind. ;)

I am not trying to sway anyone to change their mind about Vick. I am stating that his comments....COMMENTS..not what he has done...but comments that were reported could have taking out of context. That is all....My post has NOTHING to do on whether YOU think he has or has not rehabiliated. I am fine with your opinion. And finally, AGAIN, you and I agreed with this and these comments were more directed toward HD because I think he does NOT think his comments weren't taken out of context.

...I do not plan on trying to change your mind about Vick, because if Vick cured cancer, solved hunger and possibly lead whatever your team is to the NFL Championship....you would STILL dislike him.;)

No need for the strawman here.

I'm only commenting on what Vick says, and the fact that his statement, if not taken out of context, does not make it sound to me like he's rehabilitated or takes responsibility for his actions.

Whether people can put aside what he did to animals, and will ultimately like him and can root for him in the future, is a separate issue.

Sandra

In the 60 minutes interview he states he grew up in an a neighborhood where dogfighting was happening tacitly.

Again... that brings it back to influences, and making good decisions. Taking a quote out of context (and LOL at 'was the transcript published... that was a joke right? Howoften are transcripts released of anything outside of a presidential speech?) to just hate on him is hilarious. He's done his time and is taking responsibility - THERE IS YOUR CONTEXT. What else do you think he was talking about? How to get endorsement deals or not be someone's bitch in jail? He is telling his story so that people can relate and understand how to prevent parallel events from happening in their lives.

Without knowing what Vick said in full nobody can claim Vick was taken out of context. Speculate all you want, until you hear everything he said, you're doing just that...speculating.

If his goal is really to prevent others from having parallel events in their lives, perhaps he can tell them not to commit felonies. That might help.

Sandra

You just refuse to see the big picture so that you can hate on him, gotcha.
