NFL 2024-2025 Season

For any new technology to be adopted (or at least taken seriously), what it is capable of must be demonstrated.
I did see a lot of players moving through each other. Reminded me of early AI Videos, not much to impress. I am sure there was a bunch of tracking cameras but it's pretty hard for even humans to make out what's happening inside a scrum.

I wish they would go back to playing Football, instead of making all rules favoring the Offense.

This Rule, that you can now have Others Push your player, has to STOP.

It use to be called dead back in the day, you were not allowed to push your own player, he had to do his own running, not anymore.

In the last 5 years or so the Eagles have made this a Farce ....

We may as well play Rugby.

I can't wait till teams start running that play all the way down the field.

Also, you use to get a Stoppage of play when the forward Progress was stopped, nope, no more ...

I can't wait till the ball carrier gets picked up by his teammate and carried for yardage.

Defenses have already started picking up the guy with the ball and trying to rip the ball out of his arms, not letting him go down ....

That is NOT Football.

Other teams have tried, they weren't as successful. Even the Eagles aren't as successful w/ out Jason Kelce under center.

Game will continue to change and evolve, you can push players, have been able to for along time. It hasn't been a penalty in the NFL for almost 2 decades.

Stoppage / forward progress is a judgement call by the refs.

Well, they continue to Ruin the great sport that it was.

Just have to stop them, and then they can't run it. Don't give up almost 300 yards passing (Hurts' best day since late September) and they can't run the ball to drain the clock.

It's not ruining anything.
I'm not really referring to Todays game, they do it every week for for the last 3-4 years ... no one else does it, but they get away with it.

And No, your Not allowed to PUSH your player.

Pushing the ballcarrier was illegal in American football from the ~1890s until 2005 (NFL) and 2013 (NCAA)Sep 28, 2023

Then they decided to let the Eagles do it.:(

What on Gods Green Earth made them decide, Oh, I think were going to allow you to pick up a player and throw him forward ????

I knew it was illegal.

Yes, I said that, it's been legal in the NFL for almost 2 decades. Nobody decided to 'let the Eagles do it.'

They're not getting away with anything, as long as they aren't carrying or pulling, it's legal.
