NFL 2024-2025 Season

The Tomlin haters are having troubles at the moment. Defeated the Ravens, who drop to 7-4. Steelers are 8-2... one game behind the Chiefs, half a game behind the Bills!

Looks like the Eagles are in top form now.
Steelers play ALL thier division games in the last 10 games, Ravens last week was the 1st division game all year.

What an Odd and wierd schedule ...
That I believe is actually unfair, as they are the only one in thier division that is doing that.

Still a Tomlin hater, but I haven't seen many of their games this year. Hard to fault him with that record, that's for sure.

That is a wild schedule though, yeah, the entire division + Chiefs, Eagles in the last several weeks of the season.

I hate the Steelers because... I'm uncertain, but I love the coaching consistency. Pick a guy, and stick with it. Be interesting to see where they fall after a four pack of six letter opponents (who are also really good) with the Ravens, Eagles, and Chiefs. I think the Browns will be in ritual suicide mode so, they should be fine there with that rivalry.

Browns beat the Steelers tonight in a Blizzard ...

This is referring to the game in general, not this game.
I Really wish the NFL players would be required to TACKLE ... this is Tackle Football, not bowling pins football where you just try to hit him and knock him down ... way to many people don't even think about wrapping someone up, its pretty Pathetic really.

College isn't quite as bad, but its not great either.

The Other annoyance I have ,, and this is with both leagues ...

Throwing the ball 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage and expecting the recvr to get a 1st down when he's way behind the line to start with ... Thats on the OC for starters, for calling that play.

Have you all noticed that QB completion percentages have risen, the pass behind the line of scrimmage is why.

Let play Real Football, Learn to Tackle and throw the Damn ball down the field.

This is actually why I don't like the Tomlin, they really embraced the 'just hit them' attitude while players like James Harrison were out there demolishing people. The first time I recall a team seeming to restructure contracts around likely fines at some positions (I'd have to dig to find an actual example of this). They wallowed in the bad guy role and he obviously used it to motivate the team.

I'm talking about the Whole league, not just the Steelers.

So much for ritual suicide this early. Guess that'll be a couple games down the road.
Lived there most my life. that was a light wet snow fall no big deal. if it goes on all night will be a pita to move in the morning. worse if it gets colder.. nasty
Naw, it wasn't really expected to do that. Thankfully the winds turned that late in the day and people weren't driving in it for rush hour. Higher elevations were maybe to get a bit of accumulation 2 to 4 inches tops in Geauga County. Definitely a wet snow, some NE Ohio doesn't have much experience with, but what I grew up with!

While not a blizzard. that is the kinda stuff that can turn into a big mess. get on trees and go into ice. and ice under the snow crap. as you know living in Ctown is just so much better than living in Buffalo.. but that's about it. :)

It was too warm. A little sticking but that was it. Odd how the HD image actually looked "snowy" and that there was old school poor signal issues.

Buffalo, all the headaches of being on the Great Lakes, somehow with zero benefits.

Cleveland is a close second though, with almost no lakeside attractions to speak of. Used to have Euclid Beach until a sea wall washed it away.

Just recall Dick Goddard saying... yep we will get 2-4 inch overnight, but in Buffalo they are expecting 12-18 inches by morning. always making you feel better about tomorrow.
