Well Bill, the Pats / Steelers game wasn't as one sided as I expected it to be.
Lots of Steeler missed opportunities to make it a closer game.

Glad I didn't sit home to watch the game tonight ...
I like Defensive games, but I think this game is more about No Offense ....
Seattle and Arizona, tied 6-6 in OT.
It was 3-0 in the 4th quarter.
Heck, doesn't look like anyone else in the division wants to play, your Raiders may as well take advantage of it and win the division, and have a spot in the playoffs .... enjoy !I would have NEVER thought that almost half way into the season MY Oakland Raiders would be alone in 1st please in the AFC West. BUT unless that defense shores up and that running game improves...and I mean QUICK..AT BEST a first round ass-whipping and at worst, not make the playoffs.
Happy, optimistic and scared outta my mind.
These Thursday night games are brutal. More isn't always better and that's the case with these additional games watering down the product.
Good points ...Exactly what I said to a co-worker today, Rey. More isn't always better. Also ,with 6 teams on a bye, another morning game from London and a Sunday night game (I thought SNF went on hiatus during the World Series), that's 6 potential games the NFL took away from Sunday Ticket customers.
The NFL has been a vast wasteland of QB's that have been busts. I'm too lazy to dig it up, but during his rookie year I predicted Derek Carr would not be one of them. In fact, he has already surpassed my expectations. This kid is special!
I took the drive to the game yesterday and I gotta tell you...and excuse my giddiness, but IF a one drive is need...at this very moment, there are but a handful of QBs I would put ahead of him. He was making ALL of the throws yesterday. And Tampa holds about 65,000 fans and I can EASILY assure you that there were about 15-20 thousand Raider fans there.
Bizarre move for both sides. Wonder if they'll even be able to re-sign him.
