Nfl looking into the Matthews hit.

Sent from my SCH-I605 using Tapatalk 2

Yes. They said they were looking into it the same day the looked into Suh's play. According to ESPN he will get away with it though. They claim that he would have been notified by now if he was going to be fined.

Forgetting reality(remember,Roger also wants to expand to London,UK,how realistic is THAT?),imagine if the NFL & CFL merged & the NFL absorbed the present 8 CFL teams(minus the soon to be Ottawa expansion team). I saw possible realignment as this:

AFC East: 1. Baltimore Ravens 2. Jacksonville Jaguars 3. Miami Dolphins 4. New England Patriots 5. NY Jets

AFC North: 1. Buffalo Bills 2. Cleveland Browns 3. Hamilton Tiger-Cats 4. Pittsburgh Steelers 5. Toronto Argonauts

AFC South: 1. Cincinnati Bengals 2. Houston Texans 3. Indiannapolis Colts 4. Kansas City Chiefs 5. Tennessee Titans

AFC West: 1. BC Lions 2. Denver Broncos 3. Edmonton Eskimos 4. Oakland Raiders 5. San Diego Chargers

NFC East: 1. Dallas Cowboys 2. Montreal Alouettes 3. NY Giants 4. Philadelphia Eagles 5. Washington Redskins

NFC North: 1. Chicago Bears 2. Detroit Lions 3. Green Bay Packers 4. Minnesota Vikings 5. Winnipeg Blue Bombers

NFC South: 1. Atlanta Falcons 2. Carolina Panthers 3. New Orleans Saints 4. St. Louis Rams 5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

NFC West: 1. Arizona Cardinals 2. Calgary Stampeders 3. San Francisco 49ers 4. Saskatchewan Roughriders 5. Seattle Seahawks

Well if were gonna forget reality, I have my own list as well. I made this a couple years ago on my own spare time just for fun to see that if the NFL were to create 8 new teams in 8 more American cities and expand to 40 teams total how it would look like if the league divided the teams geographically.

NFC West: San Antonio^^^, Arizona, San Diego^^, Los Angeles^^^, San Francisco

NFC South: New Orleans, Dallas^, Houston^^, Austin^^^, Oklahoma City^^^

NFC North: Chicago, Detroit, Omaha^^^, Green Bay, Minnesota

NFC East: NY Giants, Philadelphia, Baltimore^^, Washington, Carolina^

AFC West: Denver, Las Vegas^^^, Oakland, Portland^^^, Seattle^^

AFC South: Tennessee, Atlanta^^, Jacksonville, Tampa Bay^^, Miami^

AFC North: Kansas City^, St. Louis^^, Indianapolis^, Cincinnati, Columbus^^^

AFC East: NY Jets, New England, Buffalo, Cleveland^, Pittsburgh^

^=Move to New Division (Same Conference)

I didn't have a huge problem with the initial hit Matthews had on Kaepernick, it was definitely late, but I did see him take a sing at a guys head when a guy got in his face. That right there is means of being ejected and fined. I really dislike Matthews, maybe because I'm a Bears fan and hate the Packers.

Pretty cool but 4 teams in Texas and 3 in Ohio? Love the Las Vegas one.

Well you figure there should a lot of football fans in Columbus since Ohio State is over there. People bet on sports in Vegas so why not put a football team there. And lots of people like football in Texas so I thought 4 teams would be justified. I guess you can switch San Antonio for another city in the Southwest but I just thought it would be the biggest market.

The problem with a team in Portland is that there is no stadium that can hold 50,000 people in Portland. No major university(Oregon,Oregon State) is close enough to Portland to be used & the team still be called Portland (?). The same problem with Sacramento. I used merging with the CFL as a scenario, but even I understand that Canadian teams would need a waiver on the 50,000 minimum limit(this is why the Bears play as Soldier Field now & not Wrigley Field). Also Canadian teams would need corporate sponsors/owners to compete financially with U.S. based NFL teams.

Looks like surgery is required for Mark Sanchez's shoulder. The only question is have it done now, or try rehabbing to try and play this year with surgery after the season...

Here is a horrible thought for New England Patriot fans, the Patriots DO miss Aaron Hernandez(the football player, not murderer),& they are missing a lot of offensive weapons in Amendola,Gronk,& some rookie TE they just mentioned tonight being out with injuries. Also, didn't they lose a running back to injury last week? I believe that the Jets will give them fits tonight, just like the Bills did last week.

I thought that I was going to eat my words at the beginning of the game so I took a nap. I woke up & turned the game back on to watch the Jets score a TD against the Patriots & trail 10 to the Patriots' 13 points. The Patriots should own the AFC East as weak as the other three teams(Bills,Dolphins,Jets) are,but right now I think that even the Dolphins(not trying to knock the Fins) can give the Pats a run for their money in the early part of this season. It is so hard to believe how one player's(Aaron Hernandez) thoughtless actions could so negatively impact a Boston area team since Len Bias OD'd on coke & died back in the 80's(it sounds hard to believe that a player who never played a quarter in the NBA & especially for the Celtics could so negatively impact the Celtics like Bias did when he died).

I believe the Patriots will win this game, but if I were the Pats,I'd be VERY concerned about the state of their offense, because their receiving corps is very degraded right now.

:facepalm

2-0 and I'll gladly take it.

The offense is a work in progress but, I am optimistic because despite the drops and all Dobson and Thompkins were getting behind the defense all night. Matter of fact the were killing Dee Milliner so bad that Rex benched him. It'll come by the end of the season with Gronk and DA back a healthy Vereen the offense will be rolling again. Instead of peaking in Nov/Dec, it will now hopefully peak in January. I can't wait for the 1st time the offense breaks out the "run it up" crowd returns.

The defense has played well the 1st 2 games.

Nick Mangold is a turd and deserves a "Suh-like" fine.

What's funny is the "they can't win ugly" crowd is suddenly silent. That said, I'm concerned with the upcoming schedule: Atlanta, New Orleans, Denver and Cincinnati. How are the Pats going to match score for score with any of those teams, unless we start getting some of the injured guys back?

Oh, and I personally think the Mangold play was worse than anything that I've seen from Suh. Talib is very fortunate that he didn't tear up his knee!
