no, no flaming :)

Miami was once a very proud franchise for years. we got used to the winning and lots of it. logos, names and colors are all perfect to me and has historical meaning to this city and to loyal fans like me. problem is who's been running the show since shula left. owners,gm's and coaches have all been garbage for almost 19 years now :(
the decline began when wayne bought the team from the robbie family.

Good old Wayne Huizenga, the man that made his millions with trash.I really thought he would do great things with the Dolphins,at the time he bought them, everything he touched turned to gold.Except sports teams.

Well actually,Yes! Back in the Don Shula,Larry Csonka,Manny Fernandez days.

Danny got Pissed plenty of times too. when you saw that look in his eyes you knew it was go time!! he was never truly stopped,we just couldn't stop everyone else :haha

I think Palmer would be a pretty big upgrade over anyone suiting up in AZ. He'd make a decent backup for a number of teams too. A stopgap in Buffalo ahead of Geno Smith/competing with Tarvaris Jackson who he'd probably beat in a QB competition maybe?

If 19 years is a drought, what would you call 55 years?

THE DETROIT LIONS- REBUILDING SINCE 1957!!!

Yikes. :yikes Well if you wanna go deep, last time we were in the big game was 30 years ago. Wow now I'm depressed :o

More than likely, he wanted extended even longer...which I would never do with a soon-to-be 33 year old QB.

Detroit is #27 on that list. One below the Bengals. :D

I know I didnt dream this.. so either it was a joke on the radio or a slapstick article but I recall Detroit being listed as #1.

Cheers, K

Jason Campbell to the Browns.

Jags, Bills, Raiders reportedly in the mix for a Flynn trade per La Canfora, could happen before the draft.

I have heard the Raiders trading for Flynn gain some steam the last week or so. I think I would take Flynn over Palmer... But that dead money is gonna hurt.

This is who the Denver Broncos should draft if he drops past the Lions & the Broncos maybe can move up to a better position in the draft,DE Ezekiel Ansah. IF the Broncos could find a way to get him, then the Dumervil debacle will be all forgotten. Ansah sounds like a project, but a project a lot of teams will jump all over each other to get.

Palmer wants out of Oakland, declining a $3m pay cut to his $13m contract. He wants to reportedly play/backup for a contender.

No one would pay him $10 to be a backup. I like him, but I do not like him at THAT price. When the Raiders release him, he more than likely get a small contract salary is 1st year because the Raiders will still owe him approx. $9.

Sadly, it is what it is.

And he's obviously OK with that, since the Raiders are probably a year or two from starting to rebuild at this rate. Another new OC and watched some of his top receivers leave the team for a 2nd year in a row. This obviously isn't about the money, it's the environment and he's 33.

Well... of course it isn't about the money because either way you look at it, he will get AT LEAST $9 million from the Raiders. As some articles have it right in saying it's another power play to get out of a team that is either not up to par or rebuilding. He wins either way.

I would say, good riddence because now his feelings are known. Bite the bullet and go with youth in Pryor and a QB from the draft. Trade down and pickup EJ Emmanuel from FSU.
