The same could probably be said for Manning too...

yes sir. people here talk about what if we would've kept welker. he'd be irrelevant right now with the years of not having a QB. I'm not saying welker isn't good but sure makes it a lot easier when playing with a brady or manning......

IIRC, Manning's always had good/favourable schedules... hence why he always gets exposed in the playoffs when facing actual competition.

Cheers, K

The Broncos are dream team 3.0.If they don't win it all this season they will be considered a bust imo.

They need better coaching for starters!

Disagree with ya there.John Fox is a solid coach, sure he can make some mistakes but,he coached the Carolina Panthers to the SB with much less talent.Jake Delhomme was the starting QB for crying out loud.

I don't know about that. The competition will ALWAYS be tougher in the playoffs. I think the AFC West will be tougher on hm the 2nd time around. More film on the older Manning.

It will be a long season for my Raiders.:( Depending on WHAT they add before the season starts... AT BEST, if they stay healthy, they will score alot...and give up alot.

Well.. he is the defensive coach there. We ALL know WHO the offensive coach is...;)

bottom line, this is the year if they're going to do it. i completely agree it's this year or bust especially with a Qb while great, is getting older as we speak. with the defending champs weakening and well, the pats i'm not sure what to say about them. i picked them last year and they didn't get it done, i guess it's a wait and see how they do situation there but this season is the best shot the broncos will have. i still don't trust the texans just like i haven't, ever. we should get the match-up many of us wanted this past season, pats vs broncos. imo only the pats or injury will stand in the way of denver making a super bowl appearance.

In other words, the AFC is wide open for 2013.

The Broncos have the advantage when playing at home too...

Elway should have fired him for that no-timeout call against the Ravens. One can argue it pretty much cost them a trip to the SB.
IMO, there are a few unemployed coaches out there that are notches above FOX.

Cheers, K

Ravens are the Marlins of the NFL. Win it all one year and rebuild the next.

Howe ver, with the CAP nowadays, winning a SB is almost a death penalty for team with a lot of free agents. Stay home for a home town discount, or take off for greener pastures??

Considering the lenght of the average career, you can't blame a player for following the $$$.. whats more important..loyalty to a team or the financial security of your family.

Cheers, K

Miami may have filled some holes but new ones are showing up.it's going to be interesting for us down here to see what they're going to do. It definitely won't be easy.

That sounds like a team I'm very familiar with here in Detroit t.

They made the playoffs, how do they get the easiest schedule, thought the schedule was made according to how you finished the previous year ....

Because the AFC west plays the AFC south and NFC east next season.

Finishing first got them matched up with Baltimore and New England.

A lot of signings while watching baseball that I just picked upon:
- Chiefs get a big signing in CB Sean Smith from the Dolphins.
- Raiders picked up former Bengals CB Terrance Newman.
- Bucks sign former Cowboys WR Ogletree
- Seahawks pick-up DE Michael Bennett.
