The NFL record for consecutive wins over an opponent- 20 by the Dolphins over the Bills in the 1970s.

New England has won 18 of the last 19 against Buffalo.

If the Bills didn't pull off that miracle last year, that record could have been broken next year.

What's the record for consecutive home wins over an opponent? I don't know the answer, but it has to be the Dolphins over the Pats in Miami. I think the streak started in 1966, and ended when the Pats defeated the Dolphins in the 1985-86 AFCCG at the Orange Bowl.

The Patriots have currently won 12 in a row at home against the Bills (including all 11 at Gillette Stadium).

It wasn't pretty for the Texans, but that was an impressive win on the road against a quality opponent, in bad weather conditions!!

Can't believe it. The Rams?????

Did the Rams play that good, or did the 49'ers play down to the Rams? Why wasn't Alex Smith playing? Didn't see any of the game....

i see mestevo answered this but i'll say the game was not bad until the end there. that OT was dreadful. i was going for the niners there.

hmmmm the good old days. then your bills dominated us in the 90's. you won most of those match-ups.

No your right. But,I'm pretty sure they were in the hopes of no ties happening again.

Sorry, but I don't see how. The old way was closer in virtually guaranteeing no ties because you used to be able to get a decent KO return, a couple first downs, and kick a walk-off FG. Now, the other team has the ability to match or exceed that FG.

so do you think maybe the game shouldn't end until someone scores? another qtr perhaps?

No, I actually like the recent change. Teehar seems to think for some reason that the changes were designed to reduce the chance of ties. I'm just trying to point out why I think the changes actually have the opposite effect...

i got ya. i like the changes as well but maybe the game shouldn't be able to end on a tie. i don't like that at all.......

Who would you propose to determine if the injuries are 'legit'?

Did not say anything about proposing WHO would determine IF the injury is legit. As Rey said, they screwed it up for everyone. All I know is that IF a player is hurt during a possible game winning or game tying 2 minute drill...they are going to get penalized twice. Losing a player for the next play AND losing a timeout.

even easier. eliminate a few of those penalties and the rams win. talk about some dumb football.

Definitely, they had a LONG pass play early that was called back, I think it took them down to like the 15 yard line.

Also, some of these penalties are just poor calls, ones that could have NOT been called just as easily ... that goes for all games.
