grrrrr!!! I am on the verge of giving up on the Eagles!Their O-line sux,Vick had 3 more turnovers today,and the D folded in the crunch.
After what happened the last 2 weeks, this was BADLY NEEDED.
The defense, which everyone thought would just quit, stood up big-time.
I didn't want to believe it. Perhaps I was in denial. There has been whispers here and there, but I pooh-poohed them.. But today it became official. The New England Patriots have evolved into a front-runner fraud (and have been free-falling to that status since the first SB loss to the Giants)! 45-10? No problem, that's a game the Pats will surely win! 38-17? Sounds like a Patriots win for sure. But get them in a close game in the fourth quarter, and watch them fold like a deck chair on the Titantic!!
I'M SO SICK AND TIRED OF THIS TEAMS INABILITY TO CLOSE OUT CLOSE GAMES!! They can shatter all kinds of NFL records for first downs when they're winning by a trillion points, but can't buy one when they're trying to run out the clock. When they settled for a FG early in the 4th to make it 23-10, I turned to my wife and said they're losing this game 24-23. I kid you not. It's been the same tired act for the last 4 years. It's been the elephant in the room, and it has been exposed! :rant:

Bryant wanted a flag in the endzone and didnt get one. Announcers were right when they then said he has to catch that ball in the endzone.
That kicker for the Rams Zeurlein has one hell off a foot on him and can kick that ball far.That ball could of gone 70 plus yards if good

I didnt even watch the end of the game because I had thought Philly had won. Tough loss for them. Vick has been horrible.
Yes, the Bills won!! Congrats to them!! But I dont think there back yet. Lets see where they are in November.
Rey, this has been an ongoing issue with this team. They just can't close out close games anymore.
No offense to your Dolphins, who show more heart then most NFL teams, but it's a joke that there's a four way tie in the AFC East witht the talent that's on this team. Oh, and the coaching SUCKS too!!
I am still so disappointed in the outcome of the the Raiders-Falcons game. 483 yard to 285. 22 to 16 in 1st downs...held them to 2-9 on 3rd down conversion...TOP 36:26 to 23:34...
