What about Houston ?
Wasn't his a knee ?
I haven't heard anything GOOD in his situation.
Bentley went out with a shoulder issue, is that not a problem ?

Not disputing you, just haven't heard any updates.

I saw an online article that said all the injury X-rays (4 players I believe) were negative. I hope this is true.

If the Patriots continue to play like they did last night, division is yours or Tebows' (oh, I mean the Jets!).

nah. bill and tom must be laughing right now on how easy this division is going to be. it'll be a competition on who the worse team will be in the AFC east and not who'll be 2nd best. miami will win that one.

First Marshall, now Davis. Seems like the Phins are shipping out the D. Bags on the roster. They weren't going anywhere with them now the have picks to build for the future.

yep. and i get it but don't say we ain't rebuilding ( the organization wants the fans to believe they're not) :haha

I have to say that I'm intrigued by the Seattle Seahawks naming rookie Russell Wilson as their starter at QB. That's a total of five teams naming a rookie at QB this upcoming season with Andrew Luck at Indianapolis,RGIII at Washington,Brandon Weeden at Cleveland,& Ryan Tannehill at Miami also named as starters on opening day. Who knows, maybe Nick Foles of Philadelphia will also be named as a starter on opening day making it six teams.

Took my son to his first game yesterday!!

Peyton and the first team offense looked great!! First team D was not too bad, either....

AND best of all, Peyton took his first big hit from Haralson(sp?). He got slammed to the ground, and got right back up and did it again....

Way to underestimate the Bills. We're probably all that's keeping the Pats from clinching before Thanksgiving.

I didn't under estimate them last season ;) hey if you're right I'll give you your props......

So, to recap the Dolphins:

no Brandon Marshall, no Chad Johnson, no Vonttae Davis, they're young and not established to a degree at QB. All they have are Reggie Bush, Cameron Wake, and Karlos Dansby.

Is Miami so obsessed with character over talent? I know you need good character players, but this is ridiculous. They seem more interested in winning the PR battles than the AFC East.

I said it 2 years ago with Denver and I'm gonna say it again: they're on pace to become the most friendly 5-11 team of all-time.

I got no issues with those releases as long as they have a plan b to fill those voids. let's see, chad Johnson couldn't catch a cold even in training camp,Davis came with a I don't give a sh** attitude and Marshall didn't want to be here which would explain ALL of those dropped balls from last season. Even when we did have those guys on the team Miami lacked and lacks depth at many positions. No one cares about winning pr battles.

Does anybody else think that the Arizona Cardinals are so desperate for a QB,since both Skelton & Kolb haven't really proved themselves, that they might *gasp* sign Vince Young? I know there are those who wish that Vince Young, along with Terrell Owens & Chad Johnson, would just crawl under a rock & disappear,BUT....if he EVER got his head straight,he'd be a quality QB & he'd certainly make Larry Fitzgerald happy.

blah blah blah Vince Young blah blah blah....... BUT....if he EVER got his head straight,he'd be a quality QB & he'd certainly make Larry Fitzgerald happy.

There are obviously a WHOLE LOT of actually well informed, intelligent, football minds in the NFL that disagree with you.

Sabres, you'll like this but I think the Bills make the playoffs this year. I think the Dolphins stink and dont have a good qb yet. The Jets are a circus and they lost a couple of key guys which really makes it a 2 team race. I think the Pats are the best team in the division and in the AFC.

They would have to get one of the two WC spots, IF they have a chance to make it.

I see NE, Pittsburgh/Baltimore, Denver and Houston winning the divisions with Balt/Pitt taking one of the WC spots.
Possibly Cincy too.

The Pats cut both Donte Stallworth and Brady favorite Jabar Gaffney. I'm not surprised with Stallworth, but I'm shocked with Gaffney. This means that Deion Branch (another Brady favorite) will be the #3 receiver behind Wes Welker and Brandon Lloyd.

Gaffney has been a little banged up in camp. I wouldn't be surprised if he comes back, if another team doesn't scoop him up first.

Also, the Pats signed their other young stud TE, Aaron Hernandez to a long term deal. The Pats now have their two gifted TE's locked up for years to come.

The Cardinals though are the last team yet to name a starter. They are starting a third QB(someone other than Skelton or Kolb is all I know without having to actually look up his name) this upcoming preseason game. If they don't settle their (potential) QB controversy(as in who is worthy enough to start),I wouldn't be surprised if they end up having the worst record in the NFC West, which would hopefully help them in their bid to draft Matt Barkley, which then I'll GLADLY say,"Vince WHO?"
