I find it ironic that the 3 teams I like the best, almost have identical records: Raiders are 3-10, Lions and Eagles are 4-9.

I don't know about that, but I like your way of thinking! However, win, lose or draw, my excitement will be tempered considering what happened two years ago (almost to the day). The Pats steamrolled the Jets, 45-3 in what was considered the MNF game of the year. A month later, the Jets upset the #1 seed Pats in the divisional round of the playoffs.

The media is hyping this game as "the biggest regular season game in Texans history".

Don't feel bad...I'm a Lions and Rainders fan. Perhaps we can form an unhappy miserable old bastard division (aka the "We've been beaten Black & Blue" division.

it's a game that may give us a clearer picture if the texans are for real or if they will just be bounced out of the playoffs. yeah I realize the 1 loss record but I'm still not convinced. The pats we already know what they can do and I mean that in a positive way.

I agree REy thsi will show if Texans are for real or not and if they are capable of competing with upper echelon teams

Well, considering the Texans don't have much of a history the media may actually be right this time. However, I'm expecting the Patriots to win ty 20. We shall see.

Actually,the Cardinals should just go full steam ahead(without VY) & hopefully draft either Matt Barkley,Geno Smith,or Landry Jones(or hope that "Johnny Football" Manziel decides to come out real early) in next year's draft.

Eli Manning: 3429 passing yds, 20 TD’s, 13 int with a 86.4 pass rating.
Carson Palmer: 3805 passing yds, 22 td’s, 14 int’s with a 85.3 pass rating.

The difference, ONE team has a running game AND a defense.

Yep. He got dinged up in Broncos game and they brought in the FA rookie and he played great with a pick on Manning and 2 almost picks. Nothing to lose and plenty to gain.

Pretty good chance the KC @ OAK next week will decide who gets the 1st overall pick in the draft. If Jacksonville can win one of their last 3 (@ MIA, v NE, @ TEN), it almost certainly does determine the top of the draft order.

Them Cowboys have been nothing but trouble since Jerry Jones took over and until Jones is gone as owner they will be the Cowboys and turmoil
