And put the Steelers a game farther back of the Ravens, had SD pulled it off or even a Tie, would have helped the Steelers ... possibility that Polomalo and Big Ben are back next week.

Hopefully Roethisburger will be back next week, with him the Steelers can beat them. Without him I don't think they have a chance.

Lol... just think, it never takes long for comments to come from you. I have almost come to expect it.
I officiate HS football, and see two basic types of coaches: Ones that coach their kids and question non-routine calls and enforcements. And the others that not only blame us for everything that's going wrong for their team but also claim we're missing holding on every play. Your posts just happened to remind me of the latter....

Speaking of blackouts, I'm watching the Dolphins game and the stadium is half empty. How are these games not blacked out? I'm sorry there's something strange going on, I turned on the Bucs game which is blacked out and there are more fans in the stands there.

I am a little shocked it is being played as well UNLESS the Dolphins ownership bought a lot of tickets and no one showed up.

I was thinking something like that. How does Fla. have 3 NFL teams? I dont know but Im probably wrong but is Florida a hotbed for the NFL? Besides the Dolphins, do the Jags and Bucs have good followings? The thing is I'm shocked that all 3 Florida teams played at home today and no blackouts?

Big, big first down gallop by Ray Rice!!

Excellent play and run by Rice. Ravens win in OT and you wonder how much more they will hang on to Norv Turner. Browns win a big game today for them. I wouldnt get that excited because the Steelers had 8 turnovers and Charlie Batch stinks.
Once again, I pick the Bills and they lose. I dont know if I will pick them again this year. Not for nothing, could the Bills stop the Colts offense at the end of the game, so they could get the ball back? If they did, they would have had 3 timeouts and the 2 minute warning. Instead, the Colts got 2 or 3 first downs and a penalty on the Bills and they lost the game.

Bears win and the Vikings didnt show up. Btw, I dont think that penalty on Cutler was a penalty. Flipping the ball, a penalty? I could see if he threw it at him or got up in his face but all he did was flip the ball to him. I dont think that should have been a penalty.

The Steelers and Patriots may be on a collision course to meet each other on Wildcard Weekend. It amazes me that these two teams have met only twice in the playoffs over the past decade ('01-'02 AFCCG and '04-'05 AFCCG), considering they, along with the Colts, have dominated the AFC for over a decade.

How are they on a collision course, right now the Pats would WIN thier division, if all stayed the same wouldn't the Steelers play Indy ?

Through Week 12 (the AFC teams are done for the week), this is the up to date seedings in the AFC:

1. Texans 10-1
2. Ravens 9-2
3. Patriots 8-3
4. Broncos 8-3
5. Colts 7-4
6. Steelers 6-5
***********************
in the hunt:
Bengals 6-5
Dolphins 5-6

So the Texans and Ravens would get the byes, and Wildcard Weekend would be Steelers @ Patriots and Colts @ Broncos

That's great that you officiate HS football. And like some refs regardless of sport, they think they never make mistakes..but I am sure that those refs did nothing wrong and had complete control of the game.

I never blamed the refs for losing. The Raiders were completely outclassed in the 1st half. The Raiders were playing hard and outplaying the Bengals in the 2nd half. Building momentum...that premature whistle stop a play that was still live. Suddenly, you have only a 10 point game with over 7 minutes to play.

Nahhh.....nevermind explaining it.

See, on a lot of blogs. There are 2 kind of posters...ah Hell nevermind...LOL!

Are you going dressed as an orange seat, that's seems to be what most people wear to Dolphins Stadium. ;)

Gotcha, I forgot, was thinking the 2 WC teams played one another first.

Why does the NFL Sunday Night football games not start till 8:30 ?
If they started at say 8:05, games would be able to be seen in thier entirety more often ....
As it is, tonight's game is just ending the 3rd quarter and its a few minutes till 11PM.
Thats ridiculous.

Why do we have to have entertainment before each game now ... if your gonna do that, have the entertainment END at 5-10 till 8 and start the game at 8:05.

I don't turn off many games, (which may be a surprise as bad as the Chiefs have been), but this SNF game lost me midway through the third. Flipped there a couple times after, but man, what a disappointment that matchup ended up being.

The 4th and 29 play is part heart and determination by Ray Rice, part Chargers epic fail.

Will Norv Turner or Andy Reid even make it to Christmas?

Ray Rice is a Beast, I watched him at Rutgers and could see the talent coming to the NFL .... about died when I saw that the Ravens took him, being a Steelers fan.
