Well, it ended up being a Close game anyways with Carolina winning and Cam looked good ... against the Eagles, that may not be saying a whole lot.

The Eagles cut defensive end Jason Babin

lmao!! I had a bad feeling when they signed him to the big contract it wasn't going to work out.He had already been in Philly before going to TN and having one good year there.He had a lot of sacks last year but has stunk up the field this year.

I had a strange feeling that was going to happen. They will try to renegociate his contract for less next year.

I'll be surprised if he isn't cut after his 2-game suspension and it just serves as a way to punish him rather than reward him by releasing right away. His salary also goes from 970k this year to over $4m next year, before 250k workout bonuses. His performance doesn't merit the pay and this dustup could make it less likely he's willing to do the organization any favors.

Jimbo/cybok -

Is Big Ben playing this Sunday?

@JasonLaCanfora
Steelers to start Charlie Batch Sun, Brian Hoyer back-up. Roethlisberger slated to be listed as out at this point. many Steelers surprised

Throw in his little gun issue, EVEN if the chargers are dropped...yeah, he may not last the season..

Man what an ugly performance by Brees last night!5 ints.should have been 6 but a penalty brought one back.Stopped his 54 game td streak.

And to make it worse at least in my case,he ruined me in FF this week.:rant:

I now believe that there's nine teams with a legitimate shot to hoist the Lombardi come early February. In no particular order the teams are; the Giants, Packers, 49ers, Bears, Falcons, Texans, Broncos, Patriots and Ravens. IF the Steelers can get Big Ben healthy, then there's a 10th team added to the mix.

IMO, all of the above are flawed in one area or another, but that's what makes this race intriguing. Obviously, the most important position is QB, and that's what is making me shy away a bit from the Bears (otherwise, they just may be my Super Bowl favorite).

Sadly, we could have had most of them chosen before the season started.
