Denver got 1st round pick THIS year AND next a THIRD this year AND Orton.
How on earth did they get robbed ?
Kyle Orton is a weak-armed wimp. He can't throw a deep ball.

you thought that Orton was going to be the starter in Denver ?
Cutler would have not been good at all in Denver after the trade incident.
For what he was worth...Denver got a great deal.
Cutler didn't show much leadership or a winning record for the last 2 years, I think changing the air will be a good idea for the Broncos.
Anyways, Broncos have 2 first rounders, they might even trade 1 to go even higher.
Its either that, or they will use their first 2 round picks to add more depth on their D line.
Personally, I think Denver got robbed.
Kyle Orton is a weak-armed wimp. He can't throw a deep ball.
Cutler doesnt play defense, which is why Denver's record has been what it has much more than any offensive problems.
Using 2008 values, the Broncos 1st rounders could get them into the 4th or so pick if they wanted and someone that high would trade down.
The Bottle was a throw in! The real benefit for Denver came in the form of two 1st draft picks and one 3rd round pick!
Actually, he was not....Denver was not gonna do the deal UNLESS he was included in the deal....at least that is what was reported down here. SO that to me means that they have plans for those picks and that does not included get a QB in the draft.
Which brings me to my point........
Like I said in another thread, If McDaniels thinks he can just transform any run of the mill QB into a star, ala Cassell (which IMO the verdict is still out on), then McDaniels is out of his freaking mind!
The primary reason Cassell succeeded was because of the system instill by coach Belichick.
I agree. But then again, IF it was the system, show is to say Cassel is a star? I mean the sample size is ONE YEAR on Cassel....on a system that could litterally make Sabre's a star(LOL! Just joshin' ya Sabres....)
Wait till you see Cassel in KC. He's gonna sink like a fish.
Hmmmm...this would be a HUGE pick-up if they pulled it off.
Cardinals WR Anquan Boldin continued his eternal hope of getting out of Arizona and, perhaps, of returning home to play with the Dolphins. No doubt the Dolphins need a big-game receiver. No doubt the Dolphins would instantly be better. But .... well, I'll get to that in a second. Here's the transcipt of the pertinent parts. On whether or not he'll be in Arizona next year: "Honestly, I don't know. It's at a point right now where there's not any discussion between myself and the team. When something does happen, I'll let my agent take care it. I guess he'll converse with the GM or management..It's a tough situation and you definitely don't want this hanging over your head going into another season, especially it being a couple of years past due." On playing for the Dolphins and playing in his home state: "I would love to. You know, I'm a Florida guy, always will be a Florida guy at heart. If it happens, I'll definitely be grateful." Now let's talk why the Dolphins will never get Boldin. If you think Cutler is whining, what about Boldin? He threw a year-long fit because Larry Fitzgerald got more money last off-season. Well, as the season played out, you saw why Fitzgerrald did. Second, he's under contract next season. He can complain all he wants to about his contract.

I lost A LOT of respect for Boldin after that little stunt he pulled on his teammates following the NFC Championship.
Come on HD....the ONLY reason ANYONE knows about this is because the camera just HAPPEN to catch it for the WHOLE WORLD to see. You know reporters saw that and went nutz asking questions. IF the team forgave him...why can't any of us? The ONLY people that matter in a situation like that is whether HIS TEAMMATES can trust him...and they did....
