I've never personally fired a couch, but I did sue one for lack of support.
I actually moved a chair out of my TV room once, because I was convinced it was bringing the Rangers bad luck during the playoffs!

Tim Couch got fired from Cleveland a long time ago.
This sucks. It's like waking up on Christmas to find nothing under the tree. Consider this your bye week Paul. The Lions had better not go on a winning streak.
By the numbers:
99.99% - Percentage of Detroit fans who claim they knew "this was the week" for the Lion's to win.
.01% - The percentage of people who didn't see this coming - namely me.
66.6% - The percentage of Detroit Lions fans who were lying in the first statement.
I said it: My response to HD MM picking the Lion's to win this week - LAMFAO!!!

That is what I get for using my phone to post and it was filling in the words it thought I wanted.
First a couple of announcements:
1) The victory parade is Thursday at 12 noon. Bring your own confetti and streamers. Or just sit home like all the Lions fans did Sunday. Don't plan on watching it on TV - it's blacked out.
2) Playoff tickets go on sale this Friday.
Well I'm pissed off. First time these ne-er do wells finally win a game, and i got to listen to it on a radio. After all the money the NFL has made on our backs, you would think they would give something back to the fans and lift the blackouts this season. Especially for an economically decimated area such as Detroit.
OK, I'm happy, but this week these guys screwed me because I have nothing to make fun about. Still winning doesn't suck, it's just not very funny.

Well that's why I'm Nostradumbass.
Hopefully the real Lion's will return next Sunday so that I will have something entertaining to write next week. Winning is boring. making fun of the Lion's is much more fun.
I watched it and they looked pretty good, unfortunetly my Redskins played like Deadskins instead.
The 2009 Browns are the worst football team I've ever seen. It's sad. If the rumors are true that the players have already quit on Mangini.....oh boy.

The 2008 Lions could crush the 2009 Browns.Oh give me a break. Did you miss the last 26 Lion's games? One win doesn't take all the stink off of them.
What's really bad for Cleveland is that the 2008 Lions were the end result of the failed Matt Millen experiment. They were a rotting carcass, and they effectively gave up in mid October when they shut down Jon Kitna to a mystery injury and traded away Roy Williams. The Browns are in the 1st year of a new regime and annointed Brady Quinn as the team's savior. Point is the Lions have moved on. The Browns are still falling. The 2008 Lions could crush the 2009 Browns.
So which was it? We looked good, or the Redskins were bad? No fence-straddling on this either, pick on or the other.
Ah, you're a skins fan, thats why you were making threads about GOLF in the middle of the day on a SUNDAY!
