NFL 2009-10 Season

12. Jake Delhomme threw 9 interceptions in his previous two games. He threw one on Sunday against the Falcons. Hey, now that's improvement! BTW, congrats to the youngster Matt Ryan. He threw for 3 TD's for the first time in his career.
Delhomme played well yesterday. The pick was on a 4th down play at the end when the Panthers were desperate and nobody got open. After the way Romo played last night for the Cowboys, maybe there's hope for the Panthers next week.

man did that loss hurt. fins had most of the stats but played to lose especially at the end there. the yards after the catch allowed by the fins D was disgusting. as soon as i saw the second to last drive end in a field goal, we all could sense the loss. you gotta score TD's against peyton.the time management on that last drive was ridiculous and Tedd Ginn Jr. was disappointing, again! he missed 3 key catches! 2 would've been for TD's. Big time receivers make those plays. the video session for the defense should be fun with all those missed or broken tackles. fins looked much better than the 1st game but still need much work to do.

Hell, I thought Gin had a great game ...
11 catches isn't that the most he's had ?

Do they not have any other recvr's , Ginn has never been a Go To guy, he's more of a change of pace, I'll hit you deep type guy.

fins are not that great at receiver but you're right. he had one of his best games. it's just not enough:(
in all it was an exciting game but a disappointing result.

With Chad Pennington at QB receivers will always get a lot of catches. That's the kind of game Pennington plays.

Ginn could have made a nice catch in the end zone in the fourth quarter, but he did not come down with it. Would have been a nice catch, but the good ones make that catch.

Isn't Brian Hartlein also on the fins?

Yeah Tedd Ginn is brutal, good thing you don't have that old regime that takes wussy kick returners with top 10 picks. I don't care how many catches you had earlier in the game, no excuse for not catching the game winning TD pass.

The 2 minute drill was surprising to say the least, 2 running plays to start? The killer plays were the 1 yard pass to Fasano were he didn't get out of bounds, and the qb sneak.

Yes. The Dolphins love them some Buckeye Receivers.

Jags have put WR Troy Williamson on IR with a shoulder injury, elevated a practice squad scrub to the active roster.

Raiders will be without OT Robert Gallery for 4-6 weeks with a broken leg.

Todd Haley said that if Cassel doesn't produce, he'll go with the guy that gives him his best chance to win, not ruling out that Brodie Croyle (who's game against the Ravens was the best of his career) could unseat Cassel as the starter. Likely just posturing, but we'll see.

I love this guy - Ochocinco planted fans in the front row of the Packers game for him to do the Lambeau Leap.

Good thing he scored going the right direction.
