NFL 2009-10 Season

This is what I think of when I see the Bills play the Patriots.

Cute :D

Just got home from "The Razor", and what a game!!!!

This was a loss if there ever was one, but the Bills special teams gift wrapped the game to the Pats. The Bills played great defensively through 3.5 quarters, but Mr. Brady came through once again.

I was listening to the radio on the way home, and I think they said Brady was 12-13, 181 yards and 2 TD's in the 4th quarter!

Sabres, you must be devasted by this loss, but I think your Bills are going in the right direction (I picked them as a wildcard before the season started).

Great win for the Patriots, but they have some work to do:

*GREAT 4th quarter for Brady, but he was very spotty in the first half

* The O-Line MUST do a better job of run blocking

* I don't know if it was because he was rusty from lack of work in the preseason, but Welker looked lost at times out there

* the Pats must do a better job of rushing the QB (although they improved markedly in that last drive by the Bills)

* I'd like to see Sammy Morris get more reps at RB. I understand Taylor, Maroney and Faulk (on third down) will get their reps, but positive things seem to happen when Morris is in the backfield

GREAT call by Belichick to kickoff instead of going for the onside kick! :up They were saying on the radio that Gruden was calling for the onside kick....I couldn't disagree more. The Pats had all three timeouts left, PLUS the two minute warning. Why give the Bills good field position?

Devastated, but it's not as bad as other losses.

Unlike the Dallas Monday Night game, the Bills still had time left and still had a last-minute drive to try and win.

Unlike last year's Cleveland game, we at least had a shot to win after the late score.

But given Lindell's tendency to blow kicks- the Cleveland game and last year against the 49ers- I think he would have missed it even if they got into field-goal range.

The streak is now 12, but trying to get #13 will be VERY interesting come December.

As I said earlier, thank god we get the Bucs next week.

This is not something I thought would happen- a close Raiders Monday night home game.

I think the Chiefs and Broncos are in for a hard time when they play Oakland.

He may not be as high-profile as Witten, Gates, or Gonzalez, but I think Ben Watson is one of the league's elite at TE.

IMO, he's the second best TE on the Patriots behind Chris Baker.

The Pats are LOADED at the skill positions:

TE- Baker and Watson

WR- Moss, Welker, Galloway and their secret weapon, Julian Edelman (the rookie WR out of Kent St......where he was the QB)

RB- Taylor, Maroney, Morris and Faulk

Chiefs and Broncos will have film to go off of. Expect the Chargers to adjust and be more effective in the 2nd half. The Raiders are gashing them with a running/short passing game. Man up on the WRs, play the run and make Russell throw it beyond 15 yards and he'll either show us how good he is or he'll gift wrap a few more balls for Jammer and co.

You can't win games running 4/5 times and throwing it to just your TE. It looks good on paper for the Raiders, but they need to be able to do more on offense.

Good call on the controversial overturn of that TD... you have to have control all the way to the ground, not sure why the announcers were so befuddled... Steve Young is an idiot... 'he has 2 feet down, the play should be over' ..... wow. It's no different than someone tapping 2 feet in the end zone as they catch a ball, land on their butt and the ball flies out of their hands. You have to control it all the way to the ground, the play doesnt end when your feet touch or when your knee/arm/whatever touches.

It use to, till the NFL for some reason changed the rules.

If you can tap your toes and make a catch, once you are in the endzone and touch the ground with possession (both feet) the play should be over. The way it is now, your free game to be hit and slugged and accosted and if you even juggle the ball a little they call it incomplete, to me, if you have possession and make a football move, touch your feet down, it's good.
Too much BS going on now to make a catch.

Yup. Will be a good Raiders team if the coaching and all those young players can stay together for a year. They've got a long way to go as-is though.

Most important play of the night and Sproles ran right by Seymour almost untouched.

Salsa, I know how bitter you are about the reversed touchdown, but... I have to give PROPS to your Raiders for the way they played tonight after I thoight they'd get killed again.

I firmly believe they will beat the Chiefs and Broncos.

every angle but ONE showed it was a touchdown.....and according to Golic, THAT angle....the one that show the back of the receiver CLEARLY HAVING POSSESSION where the could not see the ball....was used to determine the incomplete and complete screw job the Raiders got....that game ends there....rucking fefs!!!!:mad::mad::mad:
