newbie needs help i have a viewsat 2000

hi guys im a newbie i have the viewsat 2000 im all hooked up watching all stations now my question is when i go to menu then installation then antenna setup i see a yellow bar with number i guess the higher the bar the better because when the number is low i dont get tv anyway when the wind blows my numbers get real low 60 on the yellow bar which i think is called a transponder? when i go to tp freq and play around with it i make the yellow bar higher like an 88 but once i leave the menu n go back the transponder is back to the numbers i want to change on the echostar my question how do i make my transponder higher and how doi keep it there? please help

well i dont want to brake any rules on site im new but i want a higher transponder because its low the winds blows it becomes lower when i change the tp freq it become higher but once i leave n go back the tp freq is right back like i havent change it i want to watch dish network
