New Remote RC64RB!

I just installed Directv's new RC64RB kit on my R15-500.The kit consists of the RC64RB RF backlighted remote control(which has more codes to work more with more TVs and functions) and the RF antenna which has the F slide on connector and the antenna is black.The cost for this kit is $30.+tax.
Now installed I notice my guide functions are faster plus I found a code to work my Phillips Magnavox's TV Menu.I also like the light button on the right side of the remote.I can definately recommend this new remote control the RC64RB.Good job

Yes I paid $30.+Tax.Be sure to tell them(DirecTV) you want the RF Kit for the R15.
They will tell you it doesn't work,but all you have to do is marry the RF remote to the R15-500 by inputting the last six numbers of the receiver ID into the remote.


DirecTV sells the RF remote for $25.,the RF remote kit(which is the remote control with the RF antenna) for $30..My total bill was $32.48.

If you want the kit you will need to call and order over the phone.
If ordered from the directv website you will get the remote without a antenna.
