New receiver

Just bought a LCD HD tv and upgraded DirectTV receiver so I could connect with HDMI cables. Old receiver worked just fine on new tv, however, with the new receiver...I get a picture but everything in the picture is different shades of blue. Customer Service rep didn't know what to do. Anyone out there know?

I would suspect the HDMI cable. Try unplugging it and then reseating it. Possibly swap it end for end.

How was your old rec hooked up? Also make sure your not mixing up the Red and Blue cables if your using them, that will cause color distortion. There is no need to use those if your using HDMI.
