New Install Problem

Hello,

Installer has spent the last two days upgrading me to a HDTV Tivo receiver.

He installed new dish to a 5x8 multi switch and for some reason added another 3x 4 switch off of that.

He had to leave today and did during the box setup.

When it got to the detecting sat screen I got the following result.

Sat1
101-ok
119-ok
110-ok

Sat2
101-ok
119-not detected
110-not detected.

Any ideas on what is wrong?

How many receivers and outlets do you have. Anuthing attached to he 3x4 will not get 110 and not get 119.

I only have 3 receivers 2 are tivos so they each have two lines. I will take the ones off the 3x4 and move to the 5x8 to some unused lines.

Odd thing is both of those sat are coming off the 3x4 one is working one is not.

Get rid of the 3x4 and`hook everything directly to the 5x8, and you should be fine.
