Strange; ...
Had a service call today on an issue and during the call the tech. ran an IV retest on my Genie which for some reaaon really fouled up the new UI (0x1001). Most of the characters and graphics disappeared and reboots didn't restore them.
Had to revert back to the old guide 0x0D8F.
Tech. was a nice guy who even replaced my entire dish ODU that was beginning to rust, but still wasn't affecting reception. But don't understand how that IV retest he did screwed up the new UI like that ...
Oh well ... have to try to re-download it again later ...
I forget, do they send the new UI down in the early Saturday morning hours after the CE window closes or do I have to wait under early morning Monday now?
