At this point I wouldn't put it past the committee to put Notre Dame in the top four.

I guess that's possible. I don't think it will matter later on but I'd imagine Bama or auburn will be the fourth spot in the first playoff poll.

For now the Southeastern Conference is dominating the top of The Associated Press college football poll. The SEC on Sunday became the first conference to hold four of the top five spots in the rankings — all from the western division.

"Glad we're not playing the Mississippis this year, though I don't know who you want to play over on the western side," said South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier, whose team was thumped on opening night by A&M.

You bet.

The guy that they called the penalty on was doing his job, trying to find a spot in the endzone to sit down in, his route went to the left, the FSU players were coming to the right to cover the other ND guy ... the guy going to the left to sit in the endzone has every right to get there.

If you want to nitpick every call in that game, am betting that ND got at least as many, if not more, breaks on calls than FSU did, at least from what I saw of the game. The officiating looked pretty typical, overall, but FSU fans have as much a right to gripe about calls as ND ones do.

The NFL couldn't care less what kind of rep he has.
Do you honestly think a team will pass on him due to what people think?
If a team needs a QB they will take him........if they think he's good dough.

I think alot of teams may pass on him because of his perceived character, or lack thereof. Much of the talk of the season is how badly he has damaged his draft stock with his off the field issues.

I think that he'll be another Vince Young. Right now Winston is toxic.
