More than likely not. But We lost. We didnt do what we had to do. So we can only blame ourselves.

They will go and get destroyed by GA (who I hope wins the SECCG) or Alabama. either one will beat them, and it will not even be close. But does not mean they dont deserve to be in their. We beat ourselves in Jacksonville with 5 turnovers the most all season. We are stuck int he Sugar bowl waiting for next year.

Which should be amazing for us. Most our star defense players return, and our running game already one of the best in the nation adds the #1 RB recruit in the nation to our depth chart. It will be a great season next year no doubt.

Do you honestly think we lose a game playing Notre Dame's schedule?

I can't wait until next year either. #2 recruiting class, a better Driskel, Ronald Powell coming back from injury. Could be a very special year.

In my baised opinion I think it should be Florida, they beat 4 teams that are ranked higher than any team Notre Dame did. They deserve a shot against Alabama or a rematch of Georgia. Yeah they lost to Georgia on a neutral field but to me that wiped out by the schedule and their strength of victories. Sorry but Notre Dame couldn't hang in that conference week after week and beat the teams Florida did.

You already had your shot against Georgia and the SEC already has a title game. It's the NATIONAL championship game not the SEC championship game.

If ND schedule was weak, then just like last season let's check the records of those cream puffs Bama played.

Michigan 8-4
Western Kentucky 7-5
Arkansas 4-8
Fla Atlantic 3-8
Ole Miss 6-6
Mizzou 5-7
Tenn 5-7
Miss St 8-4
LSU 10-2
aTm 10-2
Western Carolina 1-10
Auburn 3-9

Holy Crap Batman!!!! Alabama also only played 2 teams with less than 4 losses.

Yes Alabama had the easiest scheudle in the SEC no doubt about it. A 1 loss Alabama would not jump ND.

Your team doesn't play in a conference which should automatically disqualify them for any post season what so ever, being independent only means they can play a soft schedule. Is it any coincidence they have now joined up with the crappy ACC.

I know they lost to Georgia but their strength of victories should put them above Notre Dame.

Barring some unforeseen event, I think it'll be an undefeated season!

We don't play Alabama, or AnM and we draw Arkansas, and Missouri from the west. I think its very doable.

Sorry but you cant just jump an undefeated BCS AQ team. If ND lost to USC, no doubt FLA would be in. But they didnt. They handled business.

That's my point, they shouldn't be an AQ school. Plus, USC sucks so what does that prove they've got 5 loses.

Your team didn't win its own conference so that should bar them from the national championship and it will this year. How can you be the best team in the country and not win your conference? Yes. I know that's what happened last year but something just isn't right about that.

I am not a fan of ND but they went undefeated and played better teams than what Houston or Boise State played last year. They do deserve to be #1 and playing for the NC, they will get destroyed by Alabama though.

Florida State had one loss this season, and the one shocking loss at NC State didn't take away from the fact that the Seminoles are a very good team.Or, at least very good by non-SEC standards.
People get angry about the SEC getting too much hype, but then something like Florida's 37-26 win at Florida State happens, and it reinforces that the hype is completely justified.
The Gators' win temporarily kept alive the possibility of a second straight BCS Championship Game between two SEC teams. Alabama and Georgia won earlier Saturday to ensure that whoever wins the SEC Championship Game between those teams will also play in the BCS Championship Game.
The Gators were fourth in the BCS standings, and a demolition of Florida State won't hurt their ranking. Florida won and had to hope for a Notre Dame loss at USC to keep its national championship hopes alive.
Many college football fans likely cringe at the mere thought of another all-SEC battle for the national championship, but the ACC's best had a chance to knock off Florida - the SEC's third best team - at home and was beaten soundly.
I figured everyone would enjoy the read. lol

Looks like the nation is giving them a 50-50 chance.

First step for Bulldogs is beating Bama. Personally whoever wins the SEC will throttle ND. ND struggled to beat teams they were better then. Thanks to the Pitt kicker they remained undefeated. As for next season my Bulldogs get a Non Conference game at Clemson and pick up LSU. I am sure more will make comments about there weak schedule because of North Texas and Appalachian State games. Unlike many other schools teams like UGA, UF and So. Carolina play in state rivals for Non Conference regular season finales every year. Most PAC 12, Big Ten and Big 12 teams can not say that.

Wow... as much as I hate ND, hard not to root for them when they get little to no respect. A LOT of assumptions... and a lot of "shoulda, coulda, wouldas...."

Clemson played a good game beating a damn good Auburn team that I could tell -both fought pretty good in that game was well played!

I have a sneaky feeling USC will not be the #1 team by next week.

Id bet the house ND loses to the SEC champion. ND has no chance. 0 none. In fact id say the same thing about Oregon and KState as well. 0 chance against the SEC Champ.
