NCAA Football 2011-2012

Watching the Oklahoma State-Iowa State game because I fear that is why tonight's CE is late tonight. On the bright side, maybe the BCS championship will be between 2 undefeated teams,LSU &..........wait for it...........Houston.

Because don't LSU & Alabama have to face each other in the SEC Championship?

No, they are in the same division. LSU still has to play Arkansas. Either of those three could end up in the SEC champ game, but not against each other. One of them will play Georgia or USC.

I mean,it should be the teams in the SEC with the 2 best records, not "Eastern SEC [whatever it is] versus Western SEC [whatever it is]"

It is simply not the way it is set up, not in most any conference. It is division champ against division champ. In the case of the SEC it is east versus west. And it is still to be decided for both divisions. IF LSU wins out it is them. If they lose to Arkansas there is a three way tie for first between them, Bama, and Arkansas, all with one loss, all to each other.

Well, why the hell not? Everything else is so confusing in college football, why not have LSU also lose & then really gum up the works.

Could easily happen. Arkansas has owned LSU the last few years. And everyone seems to just ignore Ole Miss...LSU and Ole Miss have bad blood from way back. Ole Miss has literally nothing to lose and everything to gain. The game will be in front of their Oxford fans as well. Trap if I've ever seen one.

A lot of football yet to be played.

Big East Expansion?

When will Ohio State get the final resolution from the NCAA?
