Ok you only have 8 teams out of the Top 11 teams and I say 11 cause Houston is sitting there undefeated... so much could happen that any of those top 11 teams could sneak into the big game.

I'm sorry but Houston has ZERO chance of making it. Even if they win out and all you have left is a couple of two loss teams from the list above. For that matter even out of the top eight there are only four or five at best viable teams to compete for the top two spots. Beyond that is wishful thinking.

Well I still say you're list is incomplete... even the BCS rounds out to the top 10

Edit: As for Houston...I'd rather see them play someone than LSU or Bama after what I saw the other night :p

Yeah and you think Lsu should drop after beating the number two team in overtime too. So......

I'm just glad you aren't voting. ;).

I could give you Stanford, but even then, I understand why the COMPUTERS (not the human voters) have Bama ahead of them. Its strength of schedule.
Take that out and the HUMAN voters have Stanford ahead of Bama. It is when you factor that together that you get the BCS rankings that puts Bama ahead. So your argument should be with the computers, not the voters.

I can not for the life of me fathom how the number one team can beat the number two team in the nation, in overtime, on their own field, and someone think they should drop though. That completely boggles my mind.

That is the most ridiculous thing I have also heard on here. Well there was this time someone said VTech would beat Boise St...... That was pretty crazy, or that the ACC is actually a BCS contender... But aside from that saying the number 1 team in the league should drop because it took the number two team in the nation (of which you could of ranked either of those team as number 1 and it still would of been valid I mean it was a handful of points that separated them.)

Now I could understand if say LSU was playing a weaker team like ole miss and it took all that effort to beat them, then yes I could see a team like Alabama jumping lsu. But for crying out loud really? ;)

He is ONLY about style points. Look, I thought that was a boring a$$ game, but in the grand scheme of things....#1 beat #2 on the road. To me, THAT is major points.

Actually, he's just sore about this...

Number 10 is VT, and I left them out of my "BCS Title Contenders" post. He thinks I did it on purpose. :D

let's be realistic here...I personally think the top 5 MAYBE top 6 teams have an actual chance to be IN THE RUNNING to play in the championship game with really only the top 4 having a chance to win. Can someone out of the top 6 actually win it? SURE...anything can happen in a 1 game playoff. But realitically...ah...no.

Thats because there is no way the ACC champ gets into the BCS title game over any one loss stanford, or Ok or OkS or even bama or LSU. ANd for that matter even a 2 loss lsu or bama would get in first.

naw had nothign to do with where VT was at.... knowing how well they play GT they may likely fall out of that after tomorrow anyway...but everyone even the BCS goes to a top 10 so why not just go to a top10 and I do stretch to say Houston at #11 should have been included..they are playing damn well.

You are right. They are playing great against powerhouse teams such as their last five opponents:
UAB (1-8 )
Rice (3-6)
Marshall (4-5)
E. Carl (4-5)
UTEP (4-5)

For that matter, lets look at the 4 before that:
Georgia State (2-7 in the mighty FCS)
La Tech (5-4, finally a winning record)
North Texas (3-6)
UCLA (5-4, pretty much the only "decent" team they play, and they won by 4)

So yeah, they are playing great, who wouldnt against that schedule?
