NCAA Football 2009-10 Season

I certainly hope that Hancox enjoyed his trip to South Bend. UConn got their deserved victory in a great college football game. And ND fans got their wish as Charlie coached his last game in South Bend. What a great guy, genuine individual and piss poor coach. I truly doubt that he will ever get another chance to be a head coach again, but with all the guaranteed money, he probably doesn't care. To all UConn fans,GREAT SEASON UNDER ADVERSE CIRCUMSTANCES. GOD BLESS.

Next week, IMHO, is the best possible shot for Oklahoma's streak of consecutive home wins to come to an end.

They are 6-5, and are facing a 9-2 Okie State team that is thinking BCS.

If the Sooners can still have an unbeaten home season considering what's happened to them, then that would be very impressive.

Not as much Les's fault as the idiot QB. He could have called time before they burned 20 Sec off the clock or not spike the ball and toss it into the end zone.
The fact that the QB didn't do that makes it even more the coaches fault. He would've done that automatically if he had proper coaching.

Nope, this loss gets hung on the coaches. Miles' clock management has been horrible since he's been at LSU. He's lucky it hasn't bitten him in the ass before (2007 Auburn game comes to mind). No excuse for allowing 20 seconds to tick away between downs and leaving yourself 9 seconds to throw a hail-mary with no timeouts left to set up a fieldgoal. Stupid.

I would guess that Charlie WILL get another chance to coach again, maybe not right away, but it will come .....
If he's gone from ND, I would be surprised if he didn't end up back in the NFL as someone's O C.

No doubt, but he won't be a HC again.

The USC Trojans have officially been eliminated from Rose Bowl contention.

The king is dead.

Pasadena will officially be Song Girl free this year.
You called it. Now there's absolutely no reason for me to watch the Rose Bowl, which is fine since I don't watch any of the other BCS exhibitions either.

A change of pace- for once, the inferior Cal team ends up winning the Big Game.

Hard to believe they've won both games without Jahvid Best.

(Personally, I'm a bit miffed, for I honestly don't think Cal is THAT good of a team.)

Thanks for the kind words, guys. Man, what a day, and what a win. Those guys have been through so much, and to win like that... Wow

#6 helped us today I think.

For the first time since 1977, Kentucky wins between the hedges.

If Georgia can't beat Kentucky, how in the hell are they going to beat Georgia Tech next week?

You guys have been through a lot. Good to see you catch a break, and you did America a favor by putting the nail in Fat Charlie's coffin. :haha
