NCAA Football 2009-10 Season

Hancox, As others have said, enjoy the experience in South Bend and all it encompasses.Walk the quad, visit the Grotto, take in the game time atmosphere and pageantry. Even if you are a ND hater,it is one of the greatest sports experiences, you will ever have. Sadly, I don't think you are going to experience a UConn victory.

I ALSO hate ND, but it was a GREAT experience to watch a couple of games there when I lived in Chicago and worked for a sportschannel.

Carolina forces 6 TO's and wins 31-13 over BC. The Heels are now 8-3 on the year. I never would have expected this after the way we struggled earlier in the season. :up

And Clemson wins the Atlantic Division with the BC loss, and will get a rematch with GT in the ACC CG.

For the first time in its short history, the ACC Title game has the potential to be exciting, not a snoozer.

Clemson and the Rambling Wreck played earlier this year- while most of the country was watching the Steelers/Titans opening night game, these teams played a thrilling game- Georgia Tech had a 24-point lead, but Clemson rallied, only to lose the game on a late field goal.

(That was in the midst of a phenomenal five-day stretch for me- I met Alyssa Milano the following day, the USC/Ohio State and Houston/Oklahoma State thrillers on Saturday the 12th, and the opening Sunday and Monday of the NFL season.)

Oklahoma got beaten by Texas Tech 41-13- the Sooners won 65-21 last year.

OU is like a hothouse flower- they aren't the same when they leave their own environment.

That's crazy. The Sooners defense has been solid all year. OU could be looking at a 6-6 season if they lose to Oklahoma St next week. Who saw that coming? Oklahoma and USC have turned out to be the 2 biggest disappointments this season.

UNC has one game left- at NC State.

How big of a difference in the Tar Heels' bowl game would going 9-3 be from going 8-4?
In terms of where we go probably not much difference. In terms of how we feel all the difference in the world. Losing to State this year would be inexcusable.

UConn just tied up ND with a minute to go on a FG. I always admired college kickers. I get the butterflies just watching, even when 2 teams I don't care about are playing

and then the kicker misses a gamewinner! wow!

What an ending to the LSU-Ole Miss game. LSU recovers an onside kick and catches a Hail Mary inside the 10 yard line, but couldn't get another play off.

Houston Nutt is proving that one school's trash is another school's treasure.

LSU/Ole Miss had a totally screwy ending.

I wonder what McCoy will have to say about Les Miles' bad clock management.
What's to say? Pathetic I guess.

LSU's message board just crashed. Don't think Les is very popular right now. :D

Lemme tell you there were some hot women at the Ole Miss game. I hope they stay good so more of their games will be on TV.
