NCAA Football 2009-10 Season

Strength of schedule? Hell, Bama just KILLED a team from Texas. North Texas! lol

I dont know, these games serve a purpose. Got to see the fourth string, and they looked good.

To add to it, I know who we were playing, but Greg has looked great this game, and the others.

I think Bama has a hidden gem for QB. Very impressed with him. Hope he keeps it up going into the SEC schedule

All other games are blowouts over nobodies. I wish they would bring back strength of schedule as a factor in the BCS. Schedules for most of these top teams suck. I'm starting to agree with Salsa now - rank Miami in the top 3 if they win out. Screw this crap.

Blowouts over nobodies ????

Ask USC how they feel about the Blowout they are in ....

10-10 with Washington close to half ...

So far Corp looks like ... well a HS QB.

=========================================================================================================

I see Florida is manhandling Tennessee, just like everyone thought ........

Opps, it's a close game Fla 13, Tennessee 6 at the half

Ya, thers two BORING games , as you pointed out.
Personally, if it's a close game like that, it's hardly boring.

Unless of course your wanting a blowout

Yea that Tenn defense is holding on strong. Fla will gell in the second half I hope..

Also I guess with Washington holding on so well against USC all that talk about LSU not being able to cream Washington goes out the window?

Actually, I posted that before the USC game started, but nevermind. I had a feeling Washington was going to give them some competition. Been saying since the LSU game that the Huskies aren't the same team they were last year. Makes me feel better about LSU's performance in Seattle. :)

FLAS running game is amazing.. But they really miss Harvin.
Looks like the Gators have begun manhandling the Vols afterall. What was the spread? ... Oops, Tebow fumbled at the goal. Oh well, maybe the spread won't be beat.

Edit: Solid win for the Gators over the Vols, 23 - 13. Nowhere near the spread, but the Gators never really looked in trouble in this one.

Huskies up by 3 with 9 minutes to play. Corp looks like he has his hands full. Fans are going crazy and have him rattled.

USC overrated, or Washington better than most thought?

Edit: 5:46 left and suddenly no Washinton run defense...USC in the redzone.
4:01 - USC held to a fieldgoal. 13 all.

Lots of exciting finishes.

Washington upsets USC. Funny how teams TY Willingham coached start to play well right after he leaves.

Virginia Tech scores with 20 secs left to beat Nebraska. Hokies got an 80 yard pass in last minute to set up winning TD.

Notre Dame survives Michigan St. Spartans had a WR wide open in the end zone on the last drive and overthrew him.

Thoughts on the Early Saturday Action:

1. Every Power School has at least one off year, could it be that it's USC turn....very young on defense, questionable QB, new coordinators....with that said..

2. The Washington Huskies might just be one of those fast turnaround team, but QB Jake Locker must stay healthy...something he's had problems with...for the ride to continue.

3. The Florida Gators don't look invincible either.

4. The big ten continues to provide very entertaining games.

I still think Florida is the best team in the country right now. Tenn, and being an SEC game, was up for this one. Florida was still convincing IMO>

Tenn played tough, but Florida never seemed to be in trouble. Could've been worse for the Vols had Tebow not fumbled in the redzone in the 4th.

Convincing? They were a 30 point favorite at home and won by 10 against a team they may not even reach a bowl game. Come on. That wasn't Peyton Manning and Reggie White they were playing out there. Florida should not be happy with their effort. Even the golden boy looked average.
