NCAA Football 2008-09 Season

HOW HUMILATING!!

Losing to a godawful NC State team.

NO EXCUSES- the Wolfpack are PATHETIC- losing to that type of team is just... TERRIBLE!!

Goodbye BCS- losing to an All Cupcake Conference team will o that.

Now it's up to Utah and BYU.

Troy hanging in there with tOSU - WTF Buckeyes?

28-10 final.

This team is very poor right now, but will get better soon, once a little experience comes along.
Today was the official start of the Terrelle Pryor era.
Pryor started with a freshman Center and a freshman replacing a vet at either guard or tackle as well as one is out with injury from last week.
So you had 2 freshmen on the starting O line and the QB, as well as the tailback and a freshman WR got plenty of time as well.

Pryor is a QB
Possey is the WR
Harren is the RB
I think Brewster is the Center

I would say this is a true Rebuilding year.

I am very disappointed in the Defense that is the strength of the team.
Mainly for their poor showing last week.

Maybe the M game will be a game of 1st year players for both teams.

Nice pass from Pryor to Robiskie. That's what they need to be doing, opening it up and letting Pryor get a feel for his game.

Only problem I see is he's running on 85 % of the passing plays and when he does pass, so far, his passes are very high, he'll get them killed soon, or they will come back to the huddle and smack him around some.

Just wanted to throw one in for Bama. Looked good today, even though I didnt think Arkansas had much this year anyway. Cant wait until next week!

Looks like Petrino might have to learn the hard way that the SEC isn't like the Big Least. You actually need a defense to survive. :)

its going to be a tough year for us Arkansas fans, lot of young guys and only one way to learn ....
it didn't help that we shot ourselves in both feet , but Alabama looked good and played well , I suspect they will have a good year... we will get to see next week when they play Georgia

Petrino on the other hand, looks to have a long row to hoe if he wants to make the Hogs a winner. They're a terrible football team right now. :(

yeah it will be tough but i think he will be ok :)

No big feat. Louisiana Tech took it to Mississippi State also. They remain the doormat of the SEC (to Vanderbilt's relief).

we can only hope , after today the jury is still out on who is relieved.......... guess i will have to revise our chances of winning 6 or 7 and hope its 3 or 4

Give Petrino a couple of years and he'll turn things around. Saban lost to UAB his first year at LSU, and UL-Monroe his first year at Bama. Look what he did and is now doing with good recruiting. Petrino will do the same. :up

Thoughts on the Early Saturday Games.

1. Thank You College Football, the bunch of snoozers today allowed me to take a nap and go out and vote(primary election today).

2. Nice knowing you ECU.

3. Only needed to watch one quarter of FLA/TEN to realize that the Vols may be one of the worst team in College Football.

4. BYU is legit.

5. The BCS better hope ASU beat Georgia, the Big 6 Conferences are running out of teams and it's only 4 weeks in.

The U finally showing me something today. Playing at Texas A & M is a tough place to play...and they went in and stomped a mudhole on the Aggies. In 2 of the last 3 games, they have played in 2 of the toughest place to play in the country.....AT the Gators and AT Texas A & M. I think as soon as next year, they WILL be a top 20 or a top 15 team. In 2 years....watch out.:yes

You obviously didn't watch the Alabama/Arkansas game.
OR, fla/bama are just that much better. Yes, Ten and Ark, arent that good, but I dont think they are even CLOSE to being the worst teams in the nation. Ten will do ok. Ark, maybe not, but midrange team outside of the SEC

Auburn 14 - LSU 3 at half.

LSU's QBs are worse than I thought. One is composed but doesn't have the arm. The other is running scared and stupid - throwing into coverage as if he doesn't see the other team at all.

Gonna be a long season if something doesn't change. :(

14-3 at the half for Auburn

maybe by the end of the season we will keep the "Boot"
:D

I know there are too many tough teams in the SEC some will have to lose

i have to jump around and find some Big 12 & Big Ten games

Nebraska has the best looking pair of QB's i've seen this season (Marlon Lucky & Joe Ganz) both can run, both can receive & both can pass so you don't know who's gonna burn ya looks like New HC Pelini has them going in the right direction.
