NCAA College Basketball 2011-12

This is why I LOVE College Basketball.

Illinois State down by 1 with 2.8 seconds on the clock. 3/4 court throw-in to Jackie Carmichael who sinks a 3 pointer at the buzzer to win the game over Evansville! A beautiful sight!

And the video clip I was hoping was captured...

to use a football metaphor: Jordan Threloff goes deep with a Hail Mary pass to Jackie Carmichael who nails the three to win the game! :)

kinda nice seeing the "smaller" conferences get some ESPN lovin...ohio valley conference

Murray State (undefeated right now) & Austin Peay just started

The Hail Mary pass of Threloff to Carmichael is Number 1 on ESPN's Top Ten this morning (somehow it went from #6 last night to #1!).

I keep watching that video clip over and over. So much fun!

I watched some guy at the Kentucky game from the stands won $10,000 for a half court shot.

Wow, that was stupid by Kroger. They probably lost people because of that.

Well, my Redbirds could not pull it out in Wichita, but overcame a 19 point deficit to get it to a 1 point game, and end up losing by just 3. Great basketball this year in the Missouri Valley. Friday night we play a ranked Creighton. I hate Creighton. :D

Salsa, what's up with the Cuse? They clearly haven't missed Wesley Johnson

This is THE DEEPEST team in Syracuse EVER...as far as I am concerned. Boeheim in the past, could depend with MAYBE 2 players off the bench and just about it. Now, he goes 4 deep and almost fields a whole 2nd team. This is also the most amount fo shooters the 'Cuse has ever had as well. You have 4 or 5 guys that have very good to excellent range. The zone defense has been better in the past...but it is still the best in the country. The CAN be streaky on the good and bad...but mostly it's been good.

I'm trying to see where their first loss comes from. Well, at least until UConn's visit to the dome 11th Feb. :)
