Only bowl game I cared about this year. To bad I didn't feel good today and slept through the entire game.

Did you Record it ?

It will probably be on ESPN sometime soon as I would imagine all the games will be, seeing they are the main network.

Unless, maybe not, I think that was one of the few that were not on ESPN.

Didn't record and and will most likely not watch the replay. Just very happy that MSU was able to pull out a bowl win this year.

You know Im surprised with you guys. You talk about how great the Fiesta Bowl is going to be and how great the Rose Bowl is but nobody is talking about what could be one of the great bowls of all time, the BBVA Compass Bowl!!! I heard the whole town of Birmingham Alabama is shutting down for this bowl game. I mean, lets figure, whats the rating going to be, a 10 or maybe a 12??!!!

Stanford had this game won and drove down the field to set up a fairly easy FG, the guy pulled it and they go to OT.

The WR for OK ST is a BEAST (Blackman) , he reminds me of Calvin Johnson.

Stanford just gave the game away when the FG kicker MISSED another FG.

However, OK ST scored a TD anyways to win it ...

Actually down at the 1/2 yard line, it's all over.

Now they decide to set up a FG instead of punching it in.

I thought they would just punch it in as well.

Blackmon just said he's going Pro.

OK St can be happy to win this game, realistically, a very makable FG should have won it for Stanford.

Blackmon is a Jr but he participated on Sr day activities so it is assumed he is leaving.

Yes there was D, but when you give up 38 points, how much D was really being played ?

There were 2 high power offenses that were changing things up every series and the defenses made a lot of stops and the offenses had to earn every yard.

Each team only punted 2 times ....
So there were only 2 stops all night by both teams.

If you use that line of thought, OSU never got to prove how good their offense was supposed to be. Assuming you're basing your doubt of LSU's D on mediocre offenses in the SEC, you should also use that logic to discredit OSU's offense based on horrible defenses in the Big12.
