NBA Basketball 2009-10 Season

And oh yeah, the two teams that have combined for more than half of the NBA championships got it on at Staples last night!

Celts edged the Lakers, 87-86..........wish I could have stayed awake for that one. :p

In all fairness, Kobe remained on the sidelines, BUT a win is a win is a win against the defending champs! :D

The Celtics turning it on last night should worry the East. They got that defense rolling. The Lakers without Kobe had been putting up big numbers, but the Celtics were able to hold down the fort. I could see the Cavs holding Carmelo down, unlike that guy on the Cavs that was defending him;)

Boy, I hope you're right. :)

BUT I just don't see it right now. Too many health questions with the veterans this year.

That being said, beating the champs on their floor can only help going forward! :up

What a difference 24 hours make....last night, we get this amazing game between the Cavs and the Nuggets....tonight, they lay ugly eggs....one team is eaten by a bland Bobcat team and another gets blown out by a terrible Wizards team.

He did play better, it just to show there is no such thing as a "definite" in the
NBA. It will take a little time for the Jamison transition, so I wouldn't worry too much of the
3 game losing streak as much as having lost 3 straight to Charlotte.

I think you meant to say the Charlotte Bobcats; Cleveland is 4-0 against the Thunder since they moved to Oklahoma City.

Every team in the league seems to have another that has their number.

Atlanta has the Celtics number, just like the Bobcats have the Cavs number. I just hope these two teams don't meet in the playoffs.

Like I said, I would not worry too much about the losing streak. Personally, and I am sure of the Cavs fan know, ALL the moves they have made since last years playoffs were for one reason and one reason only....they were totally out-match against Orlando. The only advantage they had was at the forward position, and that ONLY because they have the best player in thw world.

The year, I really think they are definately the team to beat in the East.....and Denver in the West. The Carmelo is the real deal...and not with a full year under the Denver system, Billups will put even better numbers. Billups was sedated in the Detroit system.

This just in: The Denver Nuggets are for real! Next Sunday, they have a shot at beating the Lakers for the 3rd consecutive time this year. They also just beat both the Cavs & Celtics in a 3-day span.

LOL!! Read the previous statement.

And beating a team 3 times in a season does not make a season. UNLESS you beat a high quality team....LOL! (that is MY exception to the rule...LOL!).

Denver is now 5-0 against the Lakers, Cavs, and Celtics this season. Does that qualify under your exception?

Yep. BUT....remember, and if ANYONE knows....in the playoffs...it's all about the matchups. And for some reasons, sometimes....the "IT" team somehow always gets a bad match-up...last year....is the perfect example....

Who matches up well against the Nugs? I can't think of any.

As for my Cavs in the East, I'm not worried, so don't YOU worry. :)
