NBA 2011-2012 Season

I'm sure Mike Brown isn't helping matters either. He's always been clueless as how to run an offense.

I don't know if I wanna to blame him per say...but...you more or less have the same core of players that ran that offense ...and now... they just look totally lost. That trade of Odom will absolutely kill them and I think they will be no higher than a 5th seed.

Mark my words....

Celts 87,
Magic 56

Bizarre.

I listened to the first quarter (Celts, 22-20) on the radio. Howard had 12 points, the other three starting front court players got zero. In fact, Jermaine O'Neil finished the game with zero points.

Howard went 0 for 9 from the field for the remainder of the game after going 4 for 6 in the first quarter. Who guarded him? Bass? Garnett hasn't been able to guard a "big" for about three years now.

If anything, I was expecting the opposite score. The Celtics were playing wthout Rondo, Ray Ray and Mickael Pietrus.

The Celtics needed this tonight vs The Magic. Impresive win.

I remember a Celtics/Bullets game in the 1970s, when Dave Cowens was out and yet the Celtics won by over 30, whereas when Cowens, who couldn't guaard Elvin Hayes to save his life, played, the Celtics lost by 40.

There is a VERY heavy rumors that there could be in trade in the works between the Knicks and the Magic. The Knicks send Amare and Chandler to Orlando and the Knicks get Hedu and Howard... straight up.

At 1st glance, you think it was crazy...but it makes sense for both parties. From his days in Phoenix, Amare has always wanted to be "the man". He is not that in New York. Chandler is still a VERY good shot blocker, rebounder, defender and a decent offensive threat. Amare and Chandler would go to Orlando and Amare would come "home"(he is from the Lake Mary area about 30 minutes away) and be THE MAN where basically would go through him. PLUS, they have long term contracts. New York would get probably the premier center in the NBA in Howard, that does not NEED to be "the man" or the main focus on his team. Yes, he would be the 2nd most important piece, but the offense does not necessarily have to go through him. Howard would get the big market he has craved and 'Melo gets ALL the touches he wants without stepping on Howard's ego. Hedu is still a decent point forward that with a right motivation, he step up his game a little...and if you cannot get motivated playing in "The Garden" ..then you should not be playing in the NBA!

Cavs look more like an NBA team than they did last year.

As for Miami- looks like Bosh has improved a lot more compared to last year. From last year's Third Wheel to 'Hey, this guy's doing a lot to help us win!'

92-85... A "w"... Every team in the NBA gets more jacked up to play the Heat than the reigning NBA champions. Everyone brings their "A" game....

The unfortunate thing is Miami in some cases plays down to the competition. It is not to say the Cavs are a bad team, but Miami should beat this team every time they play them.

it's not that bosh has improved. the guy is a great player and doesn't get enough respect outside of miami. when he's needed he produces. wade is out so he steps it up. avg about 27pts a game in the last 5 games. but when the other two are in he's the one who decides to swallow his pride and let the other two have the majority of the shots. good to know if one fails bosh can step it up. he's a great teammate. doesn't complain and comes through when the team needs him to.

Sorry pops. I was busy playing my weekly Tuesday pick up game of hoops at the gym to pay attention to what these overpaid sissy's were doing. How'd my boys do against the Dream Team?

We were without a few key pieces. And obviously we are still very young and growing. Give us another year or two. We'll be ok.
