NBA 2011-2012 Season

Damn....the Timberwolves have assembled a nice young talent team:

Ricky Rubio
Wes Johnson
Kevin Love
JJ Barea
Darko(not gonna try to spell it)LOL!
Michael Beasley
Derrick Williams

Those are 5 out of 7, if I am not mistaken, players that were top 5 picks! This is going to be a very exciting team!

I like this team...damn!

Another nailbiter! D-Wade hits his 2nd straight winning shot with less than 10 seconds left. Once again, Bosh is a monster in the 4th quarter and once again, the Heat show some moxy and not wittle and close it out.

Well I guess the clips will always be the clips. Can't win with Eastern Top Teams

First coach to get fired this season?

Guy I think is in most danger- maybe Stan Van Gundy down in Orlando.

You cannot always make lemonade out of piss. You have a bunch of journeymen and quite possibly the best bigman in the game that wants to leave. A perfect recipe to blame everything on the coach...and get him fired.

Miami making game winning shots in the final minute?

Didn't they seemingly never do that last year?

They showed this stat last night. In games that they were tied within 3 points or less with less than 1 minute left in the game...they were 1-for-18 in shots..this year, 3-for-3 including 2-for-2 last night.

Oh yeah, ALL shots taken by D-Wade.

sorry salsa but they should not have won that game. I only watched the end of the game (hockey game was in intermission) but with about 30 seconds to go and the birthday boy drives to the basket, runs over the wolves player and the refs I guess gave him a birthday present. They called the foul on the Wolves player even though it clearly should have been the charge. Heat were down by 3 at the time and that play tied it

They got a break.. Unfortunately for the Timberwolves, the stars will get calls like the home team will get the benefit of the doubt.

The other night, Lebron dunked the ball, bounced off the defenders head and out of basket with less than 2 minutes left. The refs didn't even wanna go to replay. The Heat only won by 1 point.

The Celtics back-up center, 6' 11" Greg Stiemsma, looks like a real find. His fundamentals and court awareness are above average and he is their best shot blocker. He played last year in the "D" league and averaged 4.5 blocks per game.

I'm sorry to have to observe that Kevin Garnett has lost the magic, so to speak. He is just an above average player now who cannot guard anyone bigger than he is and who no longer moves well enough laterally to help on defense as he did a couple of years ago. Hard to believe that the only member of their "Big 3" who plays exactly the same as he did four years ago is Ray Allen.
