NBA 2011-2012 Season

ANOTHER b-baller to come from Ohio. THE only one on the Heat to come from Cleveland though. Loved his game at Cleveland State!!!!! Hated to see him go to Miami! Ugh!!!!!!!!!!

ALOT of teams "liked him" as reported by a few sites. ALL bitched about how small he was. Well...ya snooze you lose....

Since when is having a great game and pumping your fist because you did well in your 1st NBA home game "celebrating as he won the NBA championship"?

I have heard and read a few comments about how the Heat's rookie Norris Cole was 'too celebratory' in last night's game. WTF? Really? Seriously? Some should have heard his comments after the game. He was "thrilled he was given the opportunity to contribute" and "to be given all that playing time against a storied franchise with such history as the Celtics is an honor and humbling". This is the kind of stuff you dream about...making contributions to win a game against a great team"

This is a good, humble kid....and very mature as a player beyond his years.

Not saying I would've taken him over Irving. Far from it. I did tell you when he was drafted that he'd be a good one though. Good late round pick.

I did not expect this kid to be a top 10 pick...but to be traded twice before even seeing him play is just dumb to me.

I have no problem with Cole or his excitement. He's a good kid and playing at this level was his dream.

Chalmers might be rendered useless if Cole plays up to expectations.

Very true. With ALL the very good player displayed by Chalmers in the playoffs...it was almost completely forgotten last night because Chalmers went back to the old Chalmers from BEFORE the playoffs.

I wouldn't mind this at all. I get tired of some of the bone head plays chalmers makes. But to his credit and cole, they're not afraid of taking the big shots late in the game.

Because these people hate to see Heat success in any way or form?

He deserves to celebrate, he carried that team in the 4th quarter. He is going to have a chance to make open shots with other guys doubled. If the other team doesn't want to see him celebrate than get a hand in his face when he shoots.

I gotta say Hart...I really liked the way Bass played. To me, he is a much better player than Big Baby. The Celtics are by no means dead and NOBODY should count that team out. They gave up height for athletism...whether it's good or bad, it is way to early to tell.

Bass is a better offensive player but not as good defensively. maybe that's exactly what the celtics needed there. don't know :/
