Friday's ESPN Doubleheader:
8:00pm ET- Nuggets at Celtics
10:30pm ET- Pistons at Lakers
The "trade" works twice for the Pistons. The Lakers got SMACKED! And the Nuggets spanked the Celtics.

The East still plays MORE defense and a MORE PHYSICAL brand of defense to boot.
The "trade" works twice for the Pistons. The Lakers got SMACKED! And the Nuggets spanked the Celtics.
Sabres, please forgive me, but I can never forget what Boozer did to the Cavaliers franchise.
Yet the Cavs SMACKED the Nuggets. See you in the playoffs Paulie Walnuts.
See that the baseball season didn't pan out, I guess we got the next best thing. How many times do we play this season?
Paulie Walnuts! ROFLMAO!
the first matchup of the Cavs vs. Pistons will be this Wednesday at Detroit.
Will it be on ESPN's doubleheader?
Keep this name in mind: Vince Carter. Many observers around the league think the Nets will make the veteran shooting guard available at the trade deadline, and don't be surprised if the Cavs make another run at him.
The question in Cleveland is whether Carter can set aside his ego and play second fiddle with the Cavs. He should be able to accomplish that in order to win a championship before he retires.
If anyone cares, there is something really special brewing in Cleveland......
Last night, the Cavaliers won their 8th game in a row to improve to 9-2.
Also, LeBron James (23 years, 324 days), became the youngest player to score 11,000 points to surpass the former leader, Kobe Bryant. Kobe was 25 when he accomplished this milestone.
The combination of guards, Mo Williams and Delonte West continue to impress me. Both had 16 points in the winning effort. Also, this team is playing some fierce defense that Coach Mike Brown has to be proud of. (He considers this team a defense first team). The Cavs held the Nets to only 30 points in the entire 2nd half!
Final Score: Cavs 106, Nets 82
This game sets up the first clash with the Pistons tonight in the Palace. The Cavaliers will be on the back end of back-to-back road games, while the Pistons were at home getting pampered yesterday. Let's hope there is no layoff and the this game is as good as it's billing. Easily, the most anticipated game of the season so far IMO.

You got that right, did you see Lebron's comments about him leaving Cleveland last night? Before the game, James said he would not hesitate to leave Cleveland if another franchise offers him a better chance to win multiple NBA titles. "I think you do what is best for you and your career." Maybe I wasn't so far off base in saying Detroit could be where he lands.
BTW,last night Lebron became the youngest player to reach 11,000 pts. in NBA history.

Setting up an excuse already? We just came off a 4 game Western conference road trip. We get Boston (away) tomorrow.
I don't care how much money Jay-Z and the Nets offer- right now, they look awful.
LeBron won't play for a loser!
And add to that, they may not be moving to Brooklyn, and you may be safe to say that they are out of the running.
