I just ordered a R15 and now I need a multi switch.Did directv come out with one that works with all the new HD programming.Or my Rsn Hd channels in Mpeg 4?I'm replacing my D10 with the R15,But I don't want any problems with all my HD equipment.

If you got an HR20 then you should have the new switch, Zinwell WB 68 is the model number. This is the one you need for the new HD.

I don't have any switch ,except for the one thats in the Dish.HR20 uses 2 wires ,H20 uses 1 wire and my D10 uses only 1 wire.Thats 4 total. That means my Dish is Full .Now I'm replacing my D10 for an R15 DVR.So now there are 5 wires.Which means I need a seperate multi switch.Just because someone orders a HR20 doesn't mean they need a seprate multi switch.Directv is not going to just give them out for the heck of it.

I think if I understand the question is you have a Slimline which is already MPEG4 ready. Are you looking to add more lines which you cant currently serve?

What you need is a Ka/Ku multiswitch to handle more lines but also be able to handle the stuff off 103 and 99.

You need one of these. DirecTV Wide-Band WB68 6X8 Multi-Switch for the AT9 Ka/Ku Dish Antenna

Satellite multiswitch: Awesome satellite multi-switch page!

Zinwell WB68 DIRECTV Approved Wide Band Frequency (Ku/Ka) 6x8 Multiswitch (WB68) | Zinwell [WB68] au9 au9-s au9s au 9 WB-68 WB 68 6x8 6 x 8 Ka Ku switch ku ka switch wide band switch Ka-ku dish ku band ka band dish Ka/Ku Ka-Ka Ka-Ku Ku-Ka KuKa KuKa d

I didnt shop around. Might be able to find it cheaper elsewhere. Ask Scott or see if the dishstore sells them. Or have directv pick up the tab if requesting a new hardware that requires another line therefore pushing you into a new multi-switch.

I called Directv ,and they are going to install it,and all the hardware.I just wasn't sure they had a multi switch that worked with all the HD programming we are getting.Last time I checked they didn't have one availible. But that was awhile ago.

My question is ??? Is there a multi switch avail.to braodcast in MPEG -4?

I already answered that, the Zinwell WB68 which DirecTV has been installing for well over a year now. ;)

You can also get a 16 port version.

And yes, they will install it on request, even if you don't need it because you only need 4 outputs.

EDIT: I just read down and looks like you got your answer. Good luck!
