Most locals are out on DIsh and Directv in Mobile, Alabama

Not sure what happened, or how they are setup, but the local Fox, CBS and NBC groups have posted on Facebook stating Dish and Directv took a lightening hit in the bad storms were are having right now and are down.

Thank goodness for OTA

Just checked on my Hopper, ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW are all out on HD lil, OTA is of course fine. Oddly I still have PBS.

Now a lot of folks on facebook in the area are blaming this on the Raycom dispute. I swear people are stupid.

They are mostly back up this AM.

Evidently lightening hit the transmission tower (all the locals here broadcast off one tower) and that caused damaged to a nearby dish. I guess maybe thats the uplink setup for Dish and Directv to send our locals up to the Enterprise?
