MLB POST SEASON 2010

I'm surprised the Yankees were beaten so soundly again last night...but I have a feeling this series is far from over.

I agree, it's far from over. They have the big lefty going today, and Hughes in a potential game 6.

I still think that the Rangers win this in six, but when you have championship players like Derek Jeter, it's not over until the other team wins four games.

Wednesday's ALCS Game 5 on TBS

Rangers (Wilson) at Yankees (Sabathia)- 4:07pm ET

Wednesday's NLCS Game 4 on FOX

Phillies (Blanton) at Giants (Bumgarner)- 7:57pm ET

Sandra,
this must be tough for you............rooting AGAINST the "Rangers" in a playoff series. ;)

LOL it got confusing Monday night, Bill, when we were going back and forth between the Rangers/Avalanche and Rangers/Yankees games. My fiance' wanted to know if Cliff Lee can run the power play as well as he pitches!

LOL.....Imagine if the Yankees face the Giants in the WS?

Yanks and Phils both have to come back from 3-1 deficits (NYY took step 1 today) or, as Salsa said, broadcasting companies will sh** their pants.

Bill, your Red Sox have pulled this feat off thrice- what exactly does it take for a baseball team to come back from a 3 games to 1 deficit?

Funny how the Yankee haters with garlic breath disappear when the Yankees win. Vulture.

Sandra
Because the stupid Yanks win one game and we are supposed to now think Texas is doomed? Yanks win game 5 or lose it, it does not matter too me. When the series is over, then it will be a big deal

Nice how you rearrange what a person says. Nobody said 'Texas is doomed'.

The point is that Garlic Breath likes to jump on the grave of a team that loses, and proudly proclaim that nobody is there to admit defeat. All this when his team bit the dust in August, and all the teams he's talking about are still playing.

But when his team loses, he's nowhere to be found. It's how he works.

This is a big game tonight for Roy Halladay, who for all his fabulous numbers over the years has not pitched in many big games at all. If he's outpitched by Lincecum tonight the Cy Young award, the no-hitter against the Reds, and everything else he did well will be forgotten.

Phillie fans are only going to think of Cliff Lee from last year and this year, and wonder why they basically traded Lee for Halladay.

Please stop the name calling.

In '86 against the Angels, and '07 against the Indians, just getting the series back to Fenway for games 6 and 7 was all that was needed (in hindsight, of course).

The 0-3 comeback against the Yankees was a different animal altogether. That series was won inning by gutwrenching inning in games 4, 5, 6 and 7.
