MLB POST SEASON 2010

CLIFF LEE EVERYBODY!!!!!!!!!!

Lee, 32, is pitching at a level that doesn't do the laudatory adjectives justice. He's 7-0 with a 1.26 career ERA in the postseason, and Monday he became the first pitcher ever to strike out at least 10 batters three straight times in the same postseason. Bob Gibson of the St. Louis Cardinals also did it three consecutive times, but it happened over the 1967 and 1968 postseasons.

From a selfish perspective, can you imagine if my Indians would've had the deep pockets and foresight to keep Sabathia, Lee AND Tim Lincecum (drafted by the Injuns)?!

where the fans from here LOL. Texas could of easily been 3 up right now
People like to pick on LA. The truth is, the fans here are no different than anywhere else. The only difference is that Dodgers stadium has a big parking lot behind the bleachers where everyone can see people leave. When people drive off in other stadiums, nobody can see it. The other difference is that Dodgers stadium has this brightly colored seats that do not blend in with the crowd, unlike other stadiums. When seats are empty there, it really stands out. Watch other games and you too will see many people leave from the 7th inning on. And then notice the number of empty seats by really looking at the crowd and you will see the same thing

We watched the last 3 innings with a Yankee fan. How embarrassing to see Yankee fans throw things like baseballs and beer bottles into the visiting bullpen .

If any of those beer bottles had late movement, please let Joe Girardi know who threw it. Could be a long night in the bullpen with Burnett pitching tonight. ;)

Someone just said that a fan ran on the field as well but was caught quickly. Also it's being reported that someone was yelling things to Josh Hamilton with things like: “Josh want a cold one?”, “Josh we gots Bud Lights up here!” Not to mention at least one “Al-co-hol-ic” chant when Hamilton was up. It's easy to see why the Yankees are hated so much. In 2004 they threw a ton of stuff on the field after Arod tried to knock the ball out of a pitchers hand. He was called out of course .

Oh come on. Have you ever been to a live sporting event? It's not all cupcakes and puppy kisses. Fans get a few beers in them and razz the opposing team. That's par for the course. Josh is a big boy and I'm sure he is trained to ignore the heckling.

Nothing wrong with razzing the team but throwing objects on the field and saying things like this are pathetic. You need to listen to WFAN if you think New Yorkers are proud of it.

LOL 'it's being reported that people said mean things to Josh Hamilton...more than once!' What are you, 12?

Getting yelled at goes with the territory. Do you think A-Rod doesn't hear things everywhere he goes? ESPECIALLY Boston? Or is it OK to yell at A-Rod, but not Josh Hamilton?

EVERY player hears it from the crowd...the Jeters, the Big Papis, the Halladays...everyone. And when you have those like Hamilton, A-Rod, Bonds, etc., who actually give people something to yell about, it's worse.

So you think it's ok to heckle a man who is a recovering alcoholic? That's much different then going after Arod for using steroids in baseball.

Do you seriously think Yankee Stadium is the only place Hamilton has heard something about that?

Sandra
I don't know . I've never heard it being reported. But you know it was bad when some in the New York media talk about it. You don't see fans dumping stuff on the field during a game on other ballparks as much as Yankee Stadium. That may happen in other ballparks but Yankee fans are becoming famous for it.

OK I'll report it for you. It happens. Hamilton has to deal with it everywhere he goes, not you.

But we get your point, it's OK to yell at players you don't like (A-Rod), but not OK to yell at players you don't care about (Hamilton). Got it. Jeesh.

It's never been reported that he's been yelled those kinds of things at a baseball game. Now what I did just hear was a pretty disgusting song they sing at Yankee Stadium . Warning, Foul Language. This is not pretty but it happens at Yankee Stadium. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztPQieRucKE&NR=1

LOL OK since 'reporting' is so important to you, let me report it for you. A-Rod had some really mean things yelled at him at a game in Cleveland a few years ago. I was there, I heard it all. Nobody cried, life went on.

Go ahead, get on your soap box and tell us what meanies those Cleveland people are.

I can't . I don't know what has been said about Arod. I can show you more youtube videos of slurs being yelled out from Yankee fans during games. The Yankees should put a stop to it. It's not right for the fans that behave themselves.
