Vinny will be returning to the Dodgers broadcast booth again next year.
What is even more impressive than Kershaw's overall numbers for the year are his second half numbers.

So far for the season he is leading the league in ERA, WHIP (IMO is the most important stat), K's, IPs, and has the second most wins (tied for 4th). He should have many more wins but he gets horrible run support.
Latos is having a damn good season as well.Look at how many games Mat Latos was leading before he left the game where the Reds ended up losing. He would have at least 6 more wins, maybe more.
At least he's making some progress towards the truth.

Too late now ... he's already lied to everyone he could find.

I just realized the Dodgers have the second best record in baseball. Only the Braves are better.

They do not all have the same record. Check that again.Atlanta appears to be the class of the first place teams with 77 wins !
LA, Pittsburgh and Boston all with the same record. 75
Texas and Detroit a game behind that ... 74
So, amazingly, ALL the first place teams are within a few games of the top team, Atlanta leads the way with 77 so far.
Unfortunately, best record doesn't get you HFA in the WS.
Good job Atlanta, can you do it in the Post Season ?
They do not all have the same record. Check that again.
But, that is the difference in which teams have the better record.Ok, they all have the same number of Wins.
What do you get for having the better record on August 23rd?
What do you get for having the better record on August 23rd?
You don't get anything for having the best record at the end of the year either, unlike most sports.
