Although Verlander's numbers were very similar to his MVP/Cy Young year last year, I didn't think he was going to win another Cy simple because he got so much less run support this year. Well, if the voters haven't yet voted I say he wins it.
I hope so because I'm staying to the last out this evening. Sucks for me since I have to get up at 4:00 AM. If Valverde did his job last night I would have been sleeping at 10:00 PM. :brushteeth:

They say Post season doesn't count for the Cy/MVP
The Tigers won this series without getting much from Prince, and especially Cabrera. That can't happen in the the ALCS. That being said, the team stepped up and we are back in the ALCS. It's hard to find much to complain about there.
Whew....Tigers move on, would like to play the orioles, I have family I have family in the area and would be nice for some family fighting
At least next round won't be west coast, late nights are brutal
Biggest surprise of the playoffs? To me it was Cincinnati getting swept at home - I didn't see that coming.
So much for home-field advantage. The road team won every gameBiggest surprise of the playoffs? To me it was Cincinnati getting swept at home - I didn't see that coming.
